Excellent set!

Not sure what the complaints are about complexity/quality, my 10 year old son completed it in 5 hours with no help and no issues whatsoever. Current Lego instructions are pretty straightforward, compared to the ones from the 80s and 90s.
The set is wonderful, with fantastic mechanisms, parts usage and attention to detail.

Fun looking little bus

I am surprised I saw so many negative reviews on this set here. So I want to give my honest fair opinion here.
The built is great, I love it. I had no gap, no mis fit parts. In fact, I think the build is 10x better than the original T1 bus 10220. T1 was the real princess on a pea. If you touch it, something will fell off. The T2 built differently from ground up. Most bricks built vertically then you put side panels on the wall. It's very different than T1 build. The only weak points to me are tailgate and front bumper. Those are a little easy to fell off. Front bumper was 1 second easy fix, but tailgate was a pain in the butt. So I try not to open the tailgate too much. But look wise? I prefer the T1 look.

Another Good Vintage Vehicle From LEGO !

Although, I usually do not give anything a 100% review (just a habit), I enjoyed this VW. I am from the old school, I had a '75 VW Superbeetle but unfortunately it rusted-out but is was an indistructable car. Back to the build. I have read the weak reviews and I never had issues in lining up parts and if there were any missing parts Customer Service always sent the missing items. All I can say if your not enjoying the set maybe LEGO is not your sets?

I’ll start this review with this, I would recommend this set. That being said, this was a tough build not because of the instructions but because of the design specifically when it came to the roof and fabric. I think it’s better with the roof open compared to it being closed. I love my Wagon Camper, I love the little extra details like the inside with the mini kitchen, the side door opening, and the back window opening. It’s cool it comes with stickers so you can give your Wagon a little special customization.

Disappointed

I was really excited when I got this set. I love the colors and the entire concept. I'm an outdoorsy person so I felt it would be an exciting addition to my collection. I've been many Lego sets and this one just did not live up to my expectations. Lego generally never disappoints but this build was finicky and fragile. Structure wise, I don't think it was a good build. The sliding door kept messing up, pieces such as the chairs would fall off easily and the rooftop did not work well either. Overall, it was hard to handle while building and I was more frustrated than relaxed while building this van. So sad but there's other builds out there that will be worth the time and energy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

over all a cool build front bumper falls off when moving and the pop up top is no good when pushed to close internals fall off ao i just leave it up

The reviews about the fragility of the build are somewhat true. However, the issues only really were a problem for me when I got to the end of the build, and even then it was only a minor annoyance. However, the attention to detail and the overall look of this is amazing, and it makes the build worth it for me.

This is the first time I wanted to return a set. I own and have built most of the Creator Expert sets with no problem. This set was not stable during the build process and fragile when complete. Front bumper falls off easily and you have to be really careful when you move it around. Because it's bigger then the other automobile sets I have it doesn't fit in the clear cases I have for display.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
