Set needs proofreading

The set is overall very nice looking and large. However, when you get down to the last couple of bags it seems like they stopped paying attention. There are steps missing and extra objects that are not explained at all. I also don't like that all the loose objects don't have a place on the main base.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Instructions could be better

Great collectors item to build, however, a little disappointed with Lego designers as instructions for attaching Hedwig’s head and body is missing, a step missed out, also as other people have said a few steps missing in the instructions for making the chocolate frog.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love the details, some parts are repetitive

I really enjoyed this build. My only complaint is minor, and that is some a lot of it was very repetitive. Especially Hedwig. But it’s lego, and l knew that it was going to be repetitive before I bought it. But it looks super amazing when complete. I was missing a piece and Lego shipped the missing piece for free right away. I received the piece 2 days after requesting it.

Beautiful big build. I have all the HP sets and this one is a nice departure from castles and trains. Absolutely stunning when its done. They are expensive but cheap for stress relief!

Love the Owl

This was a very fun build, the owl was particularly interesting and the final appearance is so interesting. The books were built in a different way to fit on the display and the frog was pretty amazing. I will say that at time the instructions were very difficult to follow, which I normally don't have a problem with, but they were unclear at times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extraordinary Fun Set

I love this set. It’s been fun to see it develop to completion each step of the way. Directions are detailed and easy to understand in most cases. It’s a great addition to my Harry Potter collection. I thought about purchasing this for over a year and finally did having no regrets. I love legos for many reasons. As a senior citizen legos help with finger dexterity and stiffness from arthritis, provide mental stimulation which we all need and a fun hobby to proudly display. I highly recommend this set.

I love this set! It has been sitting in my living room for about a year now. Hedwig is amazing! That is the plain and simple truth. The whole build is wonderful from every angle. There are so many details included in this set. The box that holds the vials of potion ingredients and Felix is awesome. The intricate details get lost in the black but it is beautiful all on its own. Soon after my daughter passed away a family with children came to visit. The little girl waved the wand around. She put on the spectacles and my lego got loved! They played with another set I had up as well. It was the first time I had really smiled in a while. I was so happy when they left. I had things come apart in a normal way, but I put them back together and quickly reassembled my display. This is one of my favorite builds ever. Hedwig is beautiful from back and front. I love the snitch! Just so fun. Can't say enough positive adjectives about this set.
