I loved this lego set! It has everything you need and Hedwig looks very nice. I’m crossing my fingers and hoping Lego will do a new Faux that is done more like this set.

I buy a lot of advanced Lego sets (too many to count) and although this wasn’t very difficult it is definitely in my top 3 sets I’ve ever built. Might even be my favorite.

This set looks amazing and has real shelf presence! Hedwig is really fun to build. I like that the glasses can actually fit a person, really fun.

It's been a while since I've read, listened, or really done anything Harry Potter related. But the moment I saw this set in the LEGO catalogue, I was dying to get it.
I was definitely not disappointed.
I listened to an audio of the Sorcerer's Stone while I built the set. I only wish I had some Harry Potter apparel to go with it.
The set itself was much larger than I expected and tons of fun to make! It was definitely a light in a dark LEGO-less, work, and stressful week.

A joy to build

I really enjoyed building this set. I *love* the fact that Hedwig's head turns 360 degrees. I enjoyed all the little things, like the pills in the potion bottle and the fact that you can make any of the four house scarfs you want. (I would have liked it if you could have made them all at the same time, as it is, you can only make 2 as pieces are needed between the scarves.)
The instructions are a great read as well.
Since you build extensions for the character stands, I assume there there will be more gold characters coming out? I hope so, I'd like to collect them.

This was such a fun build! The amount of details that went into the owl feathers and even the potion bottles was so cool. As a HP fan who has been here since the beginning it was great building this. If I have any complaints, it would be that after it is built the owl is a bit wobbly. Should be fine if it's put on a solid shelf.
