Age recommendation... not a joke

I have several of the Harry Potter lego sets and this is by far the most beautiful. The wings get a little tiresome to build but the rest of the piece was amazing. The age recommendation is not a joke, this piece was complicated. A few errors in the instructions, but easy to figure out the correct pieces needed. Hedwig feels really breakable, so make sure she has a safe place to live and that you don't have kids who want to touch.

Absolutely beautiful set

Personally i am not a Harry Potter fan, though when i saw this set it instantly caught my eye and I had to have it. The owl is built so nicely and the whole thing comes together beautifully. The potion bottles were fun to build and the wand is fun to mess around with. Its a must have.

Pretty easy build once you get going. The base and the books go together very quick and easy. Hardest part was just getting them to attach. I only wish the base had a few more connect points for the professors and the chocolate frog, also Harry’s glasses just kinda sit there without anywhere to attach either.
