Not bad but not good

I didn’t find the build as frustrating as some. But also don’t think it’s flawless. If I don’t compare the build to my Millennium Falcon, it’s a good build. There are 3 things I would have done different. 1. The doors don’t fully close and open. I think the advanced expert builders at lego could have spent more time making those fully functional. Them not closing flush irks me. 2. The two cockpits don’t open and close. So now the last two UCS builds (A Wing and Republic Gunship) don’t have opening cockpits. 3. Like everyone else, the mini figure selection is lacking big time. I’m happy with the purchase and the display aspect is great. Now give us a new ATST UCS!

Pretty good

HUGE very cool I always wanted a republic gunship not very playable though cause the base is very thin so if you hold it from the bottom it will come apart a little bit but it’s easy to pop back together overall pretty good

Missing piece

I love building the UCS models but on this one I'm missing a 1×16 brick. I looked to make sure it didn't fall off my table but I'm pretty positive it wasn't in the bag. I know accidents happen. What's the best way to get this brick? It's holding up my build.

It could of been perfect

First of all I was super excited for this set coming out. Ordered it right away.
Set it self has nice pieces, awesome color scheme.
After the build the set feels bulky, not sturdy, and unfortunately as someone mentioned before it keeps coming apart.
It is not easy to display on a shelf. Be aware that wings are set in place and there is no way to adjust them.
Every time I move it something falls off.
Yes I even took some of it apart to double check it.
This is definitely a set that one can build and display it but it is not a play set.
Part of me wants to just take it apart and store it a box (probably won’t happen because I just love all my Lego too much) .
I would recommend it for an adult not for kids.
When I find a proper way to display it I will share some images. First I need to find all the missing pieces that dropped.

A great addition to my collection

This set is huge, not as big as the falcon or the star destroyer but I was shocked at how big this set was, it is my smaller set in terms of piece count at just over 3000, but it still is big. I have All 4 3000+ sets, Falcon, Star Destroyer, Republic Gunship, and AT-AT. I have to say the colors in this set are epic and spot on, I love the fact the doors move and they have rotating cannons, over all this set was a joy to build and the instructions were very well done. GREAT JOB LEGO

Build overall was fun and definitely surprised by the size and weight of the model it self. Looks greatly next to the Millennium falcon.

It's good to see a high-quality, "prequel-era" UCS set again after a long hiatus. I was excited to see that this set won the vote. I agree with the complaint about the minifigure choice but that's a broken record at this point. It's refreshing to get a colorful UCS set and I hope to see more "prequel-era" UCS sets as there's a surprisingly low amount. Maybe something from the CIS?

Good Set

This was a very good set to make. Took me hours to build it and I only struggled a couple of times...mainly due to having large hands. I am not sure why people are complaining so much, it makes no sense to me. This set moves easily without falling apart at all.
I hope to see more UCS Clone Wars sets. Would love to see a Venator soon!
