Good build terrible figures and designers

Ok the build is amazing... but the designers have said some things the shouldn't and clearly don't care about the fans. In a FAN VOTED set they include figures no one wants and insult the fans multiple times in interviews. Ya I love the set but still just no

Great build really happy the gunship finally got to be a UCS, but there are several things that just didn't hold up. I know many others have commented the very same things I'm going to, but I want to say it as well so things are fixed in the future. Minifigs were a bummer don't ask what we want and ignore the requests. A pilot clone would have been better than Mace we didn't even need a jedi in this set. A pilot and a gunner would have been fine we know this is a display set so figs aren't important yet that was still messed up. And I honestly don't know if I'll keep the box because you printed the imperial symbol and not the republic. I understand that may seem like an unimportant detail but for expensive sets like these I like to keep the box and its important to me but with the wrong symbol I'll probably only keep it because the symbol will be fixed on newer boxes and maybe in a couple years some collector will want the misprinted box because so many of us have thrown a fit about it and it'll be valuable. I know I ranted there about some what small issues but all in all the actual set is amazing and still worth the price tag. Excellent build and amazing display piece despite minor flaws that some may not even notice or care about.

Phenomenal UCS Set!

I voted for this in the fan poll last year and it didn't disappoint! The Gunship itself is a massive and difficult to build. At the same time, it was perfect build for an AOTC gunship. Absolutely breathtaking!
My only criticisms are the stickers and minifigures. I expected the Republic logos to be a printed brick, but they were ultimately just stickers. As for the minifigures, I wish the fan poll told us a maximum number of minifigures to request. The figures themselves look great, but the set should have come with at least one clone pilot.

Overall an amazing set as far as looks and features go. I had a blast building it and love some of the new techniques and pieces Lego uses. Only a few things on the downside. I wasn’t all too impressed with the minifigure selection, givin that lego asked us as the customers who we wanted in the set. I also wished the doors would have covered up more of the sides. Other than that, great set to have on display.

So much to love.....So much to not...

I'd like to first say that the model is fantastic. The Build itself was relatively challenging and fun. It's a beast once complete. Huge model.
Here's my issue with this set. LEGO's handling of the release and the controversy surrounding it really bring it down for me. LEGO asked the fans what minifigures we wanted with this set, and fans told LEGO. LEGO did what they wanted anyway. The lack of attention to detail or maybe just lack of interest in the release was evident. Putting the Imperial logo on the box, saying that all most Star Wars fans remember is, "A clone with yellow on them" instead of giving us a clone pilot was not cool. Star Wars is important to many people and this felt insulting to prequel fans. If "Only the best is good enough" then LEGO missed the mark on some big points of this set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buy it only if you have space

So I loved this set very much the build was awesome but I had very limited space kept knocking into it and sadly had to take it apart to make room but aside from the mini figs it was a very exciting build

Disappointed! I was excited to do this build. Would not stay together and it seemed like when I would go to the next bag. I had parts falling off. I got so frustrated I did not finish the build.
