Nice Features and Good Looks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator has several nice features but omits those features that tend to break easily like external water/ice dispensers and other unnecessary gadgets. This water dispenser is inside the fridge and quickly fills a glass. Likewise the ice maker stays in the freezer section where it's less likely to break or cause issues. Externally it looks great and the interior refrigerator is roomy with plenty of shelves. We do miss a wine holder/shelf though. The only other negative is the freezer section is not huge and we'll probably have to invest in a dedicated freezer for overflow items. It's probably not ideal for a large family with many hungry kids due to interior space constraints but that's the trade-off with counter-depth refrigerators. We're happy with our purchase and hope to go years without having any issues.

My Review for 23.3 Cu. Ft. Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a Kitchen Aid unit with the same design for many years but it had many things wrong with it: The ice maker stopped working in about a year, the crisper drawers were flimsy and finally, we needed to manually defrost the unit. We liked the design, especially the full width deli tray and counter depth but we had a devil of a time finding one which would fit our available width and height restrictions. This one, just fit. It came with an ice maker, which was a surprise and has much more durable crisper trays. In addition, though the unit is the same exterior size as the original Kitchen Aid, once we put all the food back in, there was more free space than before. One note: The old deli tray had a part which flipped up, giving a better view and access to the back of the tray. On one hand, that part broke-off after a few years, on the other hand, it was useful.
