[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The inside light fails to come on when you open the door. The machine "beeps" long period of time for no apparent reason. (Mostly a problem at night when the house is quiet).
A service man is scheduled to come tomorrow. I will post additional information after that.

AMAZING FRIDGE!

I have had it for over a year and love it. well, not like I feel need to wash shelves each week or anything like that. Its well lit, lights are bright inside. Very roomy compared to anything with one door. I wished I got this fridge type way sooner in my life. Not sure if this model was made back in 1994 when I bought first house. I would have loved to have it back then. It costs more money BUT IT IS WORTH IT!! if it broke down today and warranty was expired, I would order same model same day!
There is another variety of this fridge with middle external drawer for meat and stuff. Skip that and get this one where that same drawer is within top compartment. It keeps meat fresh for long time. I use it for defrosting meat a few days to few weeks before use.
Many other french door models have shelfs spanning entire fridge. This model has each side's helves can be moved or removed independently from other side. The shelves are think glass and can hold a lot. One side on mine has 4 1/2 gallon water jugs and two canisters of flour. One shelf is also a half shelf where half of the shelf flips back allowing shelf underneath to have something taller. VERY NICE FEATURE. Shelves in other brands seem flimsy and halving too much weight on shelf spanning width of fridge is asking for trouble.
Freezer compartment is nicely located under fridge. Having it above means having to bend over to get things daily. annoying. Freezer is spacious with lower with divider and drawer with divider. it can be set to zero which is optimum lever for freezing and it gets to that level, see image. Have never seen any bit of frost buildup which does happen on chest freezer.
Cons
* Wished I got deeper model as can't fit pizza box inside.
* The fridge temp only goes down to 39 degrees. For first few months, many months, the compartment would only go down to 41 degrees. Now the top shelf is at 39 (see image) and eggs have froze in shelf on middle shelf. Nothing else freezes. I hard boil them anyways so not an issue.
* got some extra door shelf divider/side things and can't figure out what they are for.
* Chrome/polished was not a finish available. Had to settle for grey.
* Big thing is this compressor is running all the time, 24/7, constantly humming away. At low tone but other fridges cycle on and off. Not used to that but it is what it is. The amazingness of this fridge encompasses anything disliked.
