Frigidaire French Door (Stainless Steel)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our New refrigerator does not dissappoint! We opted for the counter depth version which gives us almost 5 inches more space between our island and the fridge. The shallower depth makes it easier to find things (instead of searching) and the door organizers make it easy to retrieve frequently used items (Ketchup, salad dressing, salsa, etc). The surround lighting also helps illuminate the entire refrigerator. The outside water and ice dispenser has been amazing (as our other fridge did not have one). We had ice starting the afternoon of installation, however we dumped it numerous times to clean out any excess residue from the manufacturing (samme with water). Also, after installation, it started to cool to temperature quickly (although we did not place food in until after the recommended 6-9 hours). A couple of negatives about the fridge are that on our stainless steel model, the door handles are brushed and seem rough making it tough to keep clean. The freezer drawer and top shelf in the freezer could pull out more for ease of reaching items. There was no foul smell or anything weird, although we wiped it out and washed the drawers and shelving before placing food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased new LG kitchen appliances (range, fridge, dishwasher, and microwave oven) in 2017. Believe it or not they have all been hauled away to the trash yard. This is the result even after several warranty repairs by LG. The fridge needed two
compressor replacements, microwave needed turn table motor, and a magnetron. The range, its control board went out.
We decided to go with and old friend FRIGIDAIRE.
