Worth it

I haven‚ changed a radio in 10+ years and I was able to handle this install rather easily by myself. Routing the media cables were my biggest challenge even with my truck being a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. Even with the seat in I managed to route them. Now that I can use it I‚ blown away by what this product actually does. I retained everything factory from my truck like it‚ advertised. The instructions you receive and the install video on YouTube are so helpful. I couldn‚ recommend this product enough. The only suggestion I could make is send different length screw to actually hold the unit itself to the dash. I managed to find some screws in my garage.

So far, so good...huge upgrade from stock

Researched every option to upgrade 2016 RAM 1500 stock 5 inch radio. Install was good with the help of YouTube video and step by step instructions. Running the cables from new media hub under the carpet without removing the passenger seat was quite a project. After two hours of struggling, I removed the trim piece from the passenger door sill and was able to reach under and run the cables. All in all huge upgrade. Sounds great, looks great. Can't see any vehicle info and gauges, not sure why.

I‚ happy with the operation and quality of the Heigh10 and the integration package for my ram2500. My off road maps app works great and with the large screen gives you the feel of the terrain around you. I do wish the album art would appear with xm radio.

This install took about 4 hours and went relatively smoothly with the help of the video and PDF installation guide. I really enjoy the system and options, however the resolution/display is lacking. On Android Auto the menu options are to big and distract from the maps.
I will add the customer support was fantastic. After my install I noticed two things not working properly, one quick call and instantly the guy offered support of plugging in one wire and swapping another. I did this and both problems were fixed! Very impressed with the install support provided.

Ram 2500 Tradesman upgrade: Good product, but doesn‚ quite live up to expectations

Installation was time-consuming, but not difficult. The display is great and the sound is decent, but not much different than the stock radio. I was hoping to be able to see my system info (turbo boost, oil pressure, trans temp, etc.) but since that wasn‚ part of my original sound system it won‚ show up on the replacement. If you have a Tradesman, spend the extra money and get the Ram replacement radio.

I installed this in a 2019 Ram 1500 Classic. It was challenging at times but the result was worth it. It looks factory and sounds fantastic. The functionality is fantastic as it does everything except serve beverages. Just a few pointers:
1. Read and understand where everything goes. The instructions when used with the videos on youtube are fairly complete. (I clapped my hands but the seat wasn't gone. I guess my truck isn't magic)
2. Mark the USB cable in slot 1 in the hub. It needs to go into USB 1 in the head unit. This is only for ease of operation as car play is only on USB1 (as referenced to the control unit).
3. There are a lot of wires to cram in the dash. You just need to plan a bit ahead.
4. To add cameras, you need the installer code. Stringer off Road can provide this.

Love the large screen, menus are excellent, sound is better than the factory unit. Android auto and Bluetooth phone is simple setup and word great. Vehicle info and gauges are very useful as well. I added the Sirusxm receiver and it works great as well. The installation took longer than expected, but instructions were clear and connections were made with ease.
