2019 Classic Tradesman 1500 quad cab

Love this radio! Had it professionally installed, took the shop 3.5 hrs. I upgraded from the very basic radio and debated back and forth for a while if i should spend the money.
They did have to run a wire for the backup camera as that wasn't part of the original radio.
I have access to all the gauges and with android auto I have all that I need or wanted with this upgrade. Was pulling the trailer and it was nice to be able to switch to the camera to view the load while traveling down the highway. The larger screen makes hooking up the trailer easier too. Thinking I'm going to get some more camera's added for the front and the bed. Phones calls are so much easier!

An almost ideal replacement for my Ram UConnect system

This HEIGH10 was to replace my 8.4AN UConnect system that lost its 3G network capability in my 2015 Ram 3500. But after careful and extended research, including 3 calls to Stinger's tech support, I decided not to install it. While it does not have cellular connection and relies on your cell phone for that via Car Play or Android Auto, which I could live with, there were other features missing that I rely on. The radio does not support digital HD reception. The media player will not display album art when reading MP3s from a thumb drive. It appears it did not fully support all controls of my truck's customizable or controllable features (specifically, auto-dimming on my rear view mirror and screen dimming using your dash control for your gauges). So I was concerned there would be other features not supported.
I liked that it supported more cameras than just my tailgate cam. I liked the bigger screen. The HEIGH10 initially came to my attention from OnX Offroad because that application will display on the HEIGH10 via Android Auto (I have a Samsung phone), so these are benefits I will not have by not installing.
All in all a nice, if somewhat expensive, unit. I just couldn't justify cost vs. the losses, both potential and real, and limited gains for what I use in my truck at this time. If Stinger could fix those issues I'm all in for the HEIGH10.

Love the radio. The install was difficult at times and instructions/videos were lacking for my 2018 Ram 2500, but I got it done. Definitely a nice upgrade to my truck.

Incredible unit!

I could not be more satisfied with this head unit. The HDMI port was a huge sell for me as I work in the field frequently. I connect my laptop to the hdmi port and enjoy dual screens. I put my laptop on the dash, pull out my Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and have a true mobile office. When I‚ done, my front and rear view cameras get me out of the toughest parking spot spaces and my Apple Car play gets me home. This unit was beyond what I knew existed. I installed it myself, I‚ not a mechanic by any means. The install was tricky and definitely time consuming for me but Stinger has world class support, I called them and they walked me through step by step how to connect all of the cables.
If you are looking for something that will change your truck experience, this is the answer.
I refinanced my truck with the outrageous used truck market prices so I could afford this unit. I figure it added a bit of value to the truck so it seemed to make sense.
Thank you to the engineers who actually thought of their customers when designing this. It‚ a game changer for me.

Excited to get amp and new speakers installed! Touch screen works great! Over all I'm very happy! If I had anything negative to say it would be about the volume knob on the unit, I found it small and cumbersome to operate! Glad the factory one still works!!

Loving my Heigh10

I had numerous issues with the factory 8.4 head unit in my 2014 Ram1500 Laramie and first purchased the Linkswell 12-inch head unit, and I wasn't happy with it's performance, so I went to a local installer who showed me a Stinger Heigh10 being installed in a Ram. I decided to take a chance on the Heigh10. Well, the chance taken was so worth it!! This is the best head unit I've ever had!! The interface is excellent, Android Auto works as if the Apps were actually installed in the unit. No glitches or issues so far, but I did have an issue getting the Climate Conteol to work properly, but a quick note and timely call from support the issue was resolved!! I'm sure that I haven't scratched the surface of what this head unit can do. If you are on the fence on whether to buy the Heigh10, jump off, and buy it!! You won't forget it!!
