DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE!!

I've had this phone for 10 months now and its been little annoying issues (overheating and battery mostly) but over the weekend, I noticed my camera had a weird mark on it and it was showing up in all my pictures. Turns out there was an internal issue with the lens and it cracked. Many people are saying it's because of the temperature and overheating, but who knows. Google refuses to do anything about it saying its physical damage yet the phone has never been dropped. They will not cover it under warranty and want me to pay $300 out of pocket to fix it from a UbreakIfix store. I googled and went on Reddit and there are hundreds of people with the same issue, yet Google support is telling me they are unaware of this issue. It takes amazing pictures (when the camera works) but it is not worth the hassle!

Buy anything other than this device

I waited six months for this device to come out and ordered it as soon as att had stock. Wish to God I would of bought anything else. So now after 7 months of having the phone and dealing with Google and att with a phone that won't charge and won't connect to any audio DAC that I own I've finally been told that they can't (won't) do anything else to help me...after I had to drop my phone off for over a week to be repaired, which the guy at ubreakifix we're great and told me flat out that there was nothing they could do because it was performing within Google's specs. I know I'm on the minority but I'm sure there are more people than me that use their phone for music, a lot of music, very high res audio music. Well this device won't work for you, it's incompatible with burson DAC, IFI DAC Audiolab P-DAC, the Emotiva DAC and we'll a few others that my friends own that don't work.
Ohh and if you want to wireless charge the phone or highspeed charge the phone you have to purchase the Google chargers, that's right folks! They're proprietary!! So all your old chargers and wireless chargers you have around your house and office, yep it won't work with them.
Just don't buy this price of junk.

This review is based on a first time user of a Pixel phone. I have an Iphone 12 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, and a OnePlus 9 Pro so I think I have an idea of what the competition looks like when comparing the Pixel. I have to say that I am very impressed the the Pixel 6 Pro. The UI sort of reminds me of one of my most cherished phones which was the Nokia Lumia 930. It has a buttery smooth feel to it which I really do enjoy. I have only had the phone for a couple of weeks now so I am still getting used to it but so far it's been my daily driver and I haven't looked for my other phones at all. I love the pics from the camera and the magic eraser is something new to experiment with on photos. If there is one complaint it would be the battery life. I wouldn't say it's a complaint but more of a concern than anything else. I do have it charged when driving so for me I am not that impacted by it but I do notice how the battery goes pretty quickly. If you are on social media and spend the majority of the day on your phone, then you will notice it as well. Nothing that a quick charge cant handle but beware heavy users. The Tensor is impressive with no glitches to report. The software also does not have any glitches. I had a Microsoft Duo and my God that thing was infested with bugs! This is very smooth. Lastly, as far as the finger print sensor goes... I noticed it being a little slow but the more I have used it the less it's been a problem. Not really a problem but just a minor detail that you would notice at first. No major flaws to report from my item at this point. I am thoroughly enjoying this phone and foresee this phone staying in my pocket for many months to come! If you're on the fence about buying this phone, you won't be disappointed.

I love everything but the size. I wish they would make a smaller version of pro phones. The camera was my main focus for the phone and it exceeds expectations. Easier to have one item on trips than two. Service and system are great as expected.

Decent phone, unreliable long term

I have a Pixel 5 in like-new condition that broke 15 months after ownership. The power button got stuck down causing the emergency SOS to go off while it was on, or causing it to be stuck in a restart loop. This happened outside of the 12 month warranty and Google would not repair or replace my phone. I appreciate that it broke outside of warranty but would like to see Google better stand by their products. Both of my old Samsung phones work and I will be going back to them.

Not worth upgrading

Fingerprint reader almost never works. Battery life is dismal. Phone too big to use with one hand. Camera only marginally better than previous Pixels.
