Worst Phone I've Ever Owned

This phone looks nice and has a great build. In every other way, this phone is a letdown, and I could maybe handle the letdowns if the phone were $300, but it cost me 1k. Every OS update takes me a few days to sort out. It took a long time before the thumbprint unlock was worth using. At any given moment there are 5 bugs with it, the most persistent bug being that sometimes the control buttons disappear and the only way I can leave the app I'm in is to restart the phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone horrible battery

I love the phone. Camera is awesome. It is fast and dependable but why couldn't it have a decent battery??? I do not make the day without having to charge it! I don't dare go anywhere without a charger. Frustrating. I didn't give it 5 stars for this reason only

Pixel 6 pro seems to have a lot to offer at first glance. Screen, graphics, snappy response, and lots of nice features. I prefer adw launcher but the pixel launcher is pretty serviceable as well. The basic design is somewhat mundane and the games dashboard app is annoying at best but it all does what it says. The camera is very nice out of the box as well and when paired with open camera quite nice!
So why 3 stars? The battery life and charging is all over the place. I have several chargers for this device. A 20w and 12w qi wireless, and several USB c adaptive/fast chargers ranging from 12w to 32w. Cord lengths range from 8" to 4'. Battery life is measured in 3-4hr range with heavy use, and up to 8hr with light to moderate use. Charging speed is meh at best (using 6" cord and 32w charger) and the phone quite often gets hot enough to be uncomfortable with charging times varying wildly.
Overall it is a decent phone but in it's current state should be mid range priced.
(Ps. Quit removing expandable storage. Cloud or not many prefer having the expanded storage for various reasons)

This phone is pretty on the outside, but needs some software updates to make it equally attractive on the inside. The pros are the large, vivid screen, fast processing speed and the insanely high-tech camera that captures the most detail of any camera I've ever owned (including my Nikon SLR). Nighttime shots are beautifully exposed and provide unexpected clarity in low-light scenes. Cons include the glitchy fingerprint reader, sometimes unfriendly user options, and hard-to-find features buried deep in the many different menus. Also the naming convention of some features appeals more to techies than everyday Joe's like me. The lock screen also seems to be a bit glitchy and takes a second or two to engage after turning off the phone. I got a very handsome ATT discount so will be keeping this phone as a replacement for my 3-year old Note 9.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

6 Pro is way too big especially coming from pixel 5, then you remember there was nexus 6p and pixel xl those were huge phones back then and this 6 pro dwarves them, it's also in a heavy side but if you don't need the camera feats and a heavy user just go with the pixel 6 it's basically the same.

your pixel phones are complete garbage and will be the last google phone we ever buy. My wife is now going on her second phone that is warranted through google since its a hardware issue. The fact its warranted doesnt replace the time we have on dealing with the diagnosing of the issues (hard resetting the phone after trail and error) and then dealing with the warrantee claim that google makes it seem more the costumer's issue then there's. FYI for warrentee claims you also have to agree to them reviewing your data and searches which is to me a huge invasion of privacy and they really have a hard time sending the replacement device prior to them getting there crap phone back... Had window phones and Samsung phones. I dropped the $60 windows phone 50 plus feet and still worked and had no issues with the note9 for over 3 years. These phones make me want to buy a apple phone and i am hugely against apple...
