GLASS CASE - will shatter when dropped!

Writing on behalf of my husband because he now no longer has a phone, and we can't afford to re-replace it. We've both had the Google Pixel 1 and 2's so it was an easy choice to upgrade him to the new 6. Whose dumb idea was it to make the back casing of non-shatterproof GLASS???? I bought it him for his 66th birthday, complete with a robust case and a zagg screen. EVERYONE drops their phone from time to time, and he did, but in a case too. The entire back casing shattered because it is made of GLASS. THE MOST DUMBEST DESIGN EVER. So now he is without a phone as we can't do another purchase in the same month. So DUMB and disappointing. Won't be buying another Google Pixel, but will be leaving reviews of this poor design on all the popular retail outlets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone

Screen is very clear and good size. Very fast performance. Front/back cameras are good. Many settings available to customize to your liking. Easy to navigate. Battery life very good. I like that you can get app updates thru Google Play without having to be signed in. Sound from speakers isn't the best, but the phone is so good otherwise that I am fine with it.
Pixel's buttonless method of navigating is frustrating. Hopefully after a few months of use this method of navigation should become more intuitive. The phone is difficult to use while riding in a vehicle because of the finesse required to navigate. Learning how to navigate a Pixel 6 is frustrating. Try before you buy.

Camera problems!

I've had this phone for a few months and am already having problems. After about a month of having this phone the camera stopped working. The back camera specifically. It started to blur and won't focus ever. It's just blurry. It started glitching back and forth with working and not. Mostly not. The only lense for the back camera is will work on now is .7 I got this phone for the camera because I heard great things about it and it takes amazing photos. To my disappointment, the back stopped working so I have to use the front camera whenever I'm trying to take a photo now. I also do not like the way the back camera sticks out of the phone. It gets scratched up easily if you set it down wrong or in your back pocket. I took off the back cover after a few weeks after the camera stopped working and the scratches from the back lense was not the cause because there was no scratches when it stopped working.
