Great phone except buggy fingerprint reader

Beautiful phone design and hardware except for the under screen fingerprint reader. Love the phone and feel and love stock vanilla android. Camera is awesome and find that it takes better dark and night photos better than my iPhone 11 pro max. Very happy with this phone except the fingerprint reader. Hopefully Google will continue to release updates and fixes for this. I do miss my face unlock, it was so fast and easy but I don't miss it, especially in busy places where I wanted to check notifications but not open phone. Been using iPhone since the 8 plus, but the switch over was pretty painless since I use all Google apps to begin with. The only hassle was contacts transfer, had to use a computer to do the transfer from iPhone to Google contacts. Overall great phone and hardware and hopefully fingerprint reader fixes in the future.

My Pixel 6 exploded and caught fire for no apparent reason. I will never buy another Pixel phone.

Nice phone, a bit heavy

The pixel 6 is nice, though it feels substantively heavier than my old phone, a OnePlus 6. I haven't thought about adding a pop socket to the back of a phone before but this one might necessitate that, it gets tiring to hold it up while I'm sitting.
In general the screen is very nice and the phone is incredibly responsive. Fingerprint unlock has been pretty smooth.

This is amazing phone even more simple to using the phone also it’s not heavy it’s about the right weight and size is bigger than iPhone 13 and Pro. Second, I took few pictures of nature and family in it was astonishing and good quality compare to iPhone but I would say this one had smooth picture but still getting there because iPhone had lot of features for photos so let saying storage 128gb is good to start with and Google Pixel Pro have 256gb but there is no 512gb or 1tb yet hopefully they can catch that storage issues up later. I am deaf myself when my daughter and family talking on video chat I pulled up live captions it’s awesome when talking like normal but in distance hard to speak up on it but hopefully in future it would give more and more opportunities to improve on that beautiful device. Yes it does have 5G also it’s faster internet when you search or open app it quick open and scroll down or up is incredibly at speed rate depends on your area coverage is most main thing need works on. Battery performance is great they offer 2 options battery saver or extreme battery saver last you longer. Depends on your using often.

I love the new Pixel 6 line up!

I bought the Pixel 6 for myself and a Pixel 6 Pro for my wife. They are both great and very easy to use and set up. Android 12 is so much cleaner than version 10 which was running on our Samsung Phones. I also like that it will automatically get updates and we won't have to wait for a roll out. Best of all there is no bloatware preloaded that I can't get rid of.The cameras are great on both and offer impressive improvements.

Great phone, better than S-models

I finally decided to switch from a Samsung phone to a Pixel phone. I was getting tired of the software that Samsung forces on you, that you don't want or need. I was apprehensive, as I have never used a Google-branded phone.
I love it. I was able to transfer all my apps, pictures, and even passwords using the USB-C to USB-C cord. Once it all transferred and updates were applied, I dove in. It took a little while to get used to using gestures instead of back buttons and display open windows buttons (which you can still use by turning on in Settings).
I like using my thumb to unlock the phone and turn it on. I've heard there are issues with this, but it seems to work fine for me about 95% of the time. Sometimes, I have to actually use my PIN.
The phone rarely gets below 45% battery in a full day of using apps and directions.
Right now, I don't see myself going back.

Google Pixel6 Pro-- screen failed after 4 months
on April 29, 2022

I have had my Google Pixel6 Pro for 4 months and the screen is already dead-- solid green screen. It started flickering with green/yellow and by the end of the day it was a solid green screen. Can't read/access anything on the screen. Never been dropped, no damage to the screen.
What is even worse is the Google Support. I tried calling them and a chat with support and they keep telling me to power off the phone, change the background color, reset the device, etc. They never "listen" that I can't read/access anything on the screen.
Remember the old pain with internet providers telling you to unplug the connection and re-connect the connection, to turn power on/off. Google support was worse than that!
