Only pump that works for me

I had this pump 4 years ago with my daughter. My milk supply was low and I tried spectra and other cheap pumps. I could not get a let down from those pumps. Sonata is the only pump that could express milk from me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this pump so much! Nothing compares. I used it 5 years ago for my firstborn and now for my second, and it still works perfectly!

It died

I bought this pump for when the baby came. I tried to turn it on a couple times and it worked great. Just had the power interrupted while trying it one last time, and it’s completely dead. Box has been thrown out, just have the pump. It’s an extremely expensive model and now it’s dead and baby isn’t even here yet! Very upset.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’d give it zero stars if I could

I’ve had my pump for seven months and use it one to two times a day. At first it was just the battery that stop working and only allowed me to use it when plugged into the wall. Not great but I thought oh well… two months later and the dang thing stopped working all together. Plugged in or not, I cannot get it to power on. The battery shows it’s full (as usual) and the charge icon will change based on if it’s turned in or not, but it will not power on. I’m extremely disappointed in this expensive pump. I don’t recommend this pump at all.

Best investment

I bought this for my LO before I delivered. I delivered in November 2021. I upgraded through my insurance and paid some out of pocket for this pump because I wanted a hospital grade pump. With my last pregnancy I wasn't able to breastfeed for long because of my supply so I wanted to be prepared this time. I am currently exclusively pumping and this pump does great with my supply. The pump is easy to use with and without the app. The parts are easy to assemble and clean. I don't have any complaints about the pump at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Buy Another Pump

Hi, I just had this pump replaced for charging issues at the end of August. My warranty expired in August since I purchased the pump a few months before I had my son. Of course I am on vacation and need to pump when this pump will not turn on or hold a charge. The pump was manufactured July 2019 and is already having issues broken 4 months later with only less than 2 months of use. I am very disappointed in this product and it makes me sad that the broken Medela Sonata is the reason my pumping breast feeding journey has to come to an end!

I bought this pump for my Jan 2020 baby! It assisted me with pumping over 10,000 oz! Majority of which I was able to donate to other mama's in need. I just bought my replacement parts and plan on using those for my new Jan 2023 baby due next week! I will always recommend this pump to everyone I talk to!

Literally best thing since sliced bread

I am inducing lactation to help provide milk for a friend who recently found out she can not breastfeed at all. This pump is amazing. Everyone says the suction power on here is very strong so they don’t use the high levels. I use the higher levels and I like the suction and rhythm from the pump. I like that this pump does not hurt my nipples at all even when on a higher setting. I feel that I get more milk from this pump in general. I don’t get much milk as I am inducing lactation and still working my way up to more milk but I think this pump really is helping my milk supply come in. I went from not being able to hand express more than a couple drops at work, to using this pump for a week and then being able to express a half ounce. (I was using a different pump before this one). There is something about the rhythm that mimics the symphony breast pump that I think really has helped me.
The only down side is that you can not buy the tubing separately and the spare parts are pricey. Battery life is not as good as I hoped for but I truly think the power of this pump makes up for it.
I like that there is a warranty with this in case something does happen considering the price of the pump.
I would recommend this to a friend!
