Pump in style with Medela

I have been using pump since I received this breast pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Our baby girl refuses to breastfeed due to slow let down. So, I became an exclusive pumper. The pump has been helping with establish my supply along with occasional breastfeeding. The programed settings made it easier to pump, Perfect suction. Also, everything comes apart making it easy to clean up after usage. I love how comfortable and adjustable it is. It is easy to travel and pump because it's so light weight. It also comes with a nice bag to carry the pump and supplies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great pump! Poor design.

This pump is easy to use and very effective! I did not have to buy or rent the Symphony from the hospital since this one works so well. However, my only issue is the design of the shorter tubing of the breast shields and the opaque gray band around the breast shield connectors. It makes it very challenging to see if/when your milk is coming. I ended up using other Medela breast shields that have a longer tube in order to see my milk.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My children are 9,6 and newborn and this is my third Medela pump. Overall, I loved their pumps which is why I have bought Medela each time. Our 3rd baby was a premie, so I began pumping with my six year old original Pump in Style for about a month. New Pump in Style Max Flow arrived and I switched to it for about a month. Pros: I love the small design, lightweight, quietness and closed system to it. Cons: I cannot get my milk supply with it as I did with my old pump. It easily takes twice as long or more to pump and I am still left feeling full. Instead I’ve now switched back to my six year old pump which I'd kept only as a backup because the performance is so much better. I wish I would have picked a different one and saved my money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Should've stuck with the Advanced

Figured this was the new and improved so it was going to be even better than the advanced(which I love). All the reviews I read said it was quiet, convenient, and amazing. But it is loud, obnoxious, and I now have to pump double the time only to get half the supply because the suction does anything but suck, no pun intended. I regret my choice.

Stopped working

I've had this pump for about 2 months. I received it through my insurance. I've used it about 10 times and its already not working. I'm very upset because I go back to work in a week and I don't have a pump to bring with me.

Not user friendly!

Frequent spills. Cord connection to the bottles were too short and stiff causing an average of 1 oz being wasted each pumping for bottles falling or tipping over. Absolutely the most annoying thing is for a mother’s milk to tip over and be wasted. Not user friendly at all.

I’ve never been more excited to pump!

I absolutely LIVE for the feel of this pump, It’s not too aggressive and gets out as much milk as possible. My Eccomom pump was okay but the tug started to hurt after a while. With this one I almost forget I’m pumping. It’s absolutely amazing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this pump from my insurance company and was very disappointed. The pump does not extract my milk. I have great success using a manual pump (haakaa) but Using the breast pump Is not fruitful. I get half the amount of milk and twice the amount of pain. I even met with a IBCLC to see if it was operator error on my part. We tried turning the pump up (ouch) and she confirmed the shields were the right size. This was a dud for me. Will have to purchase another pump. What a waste.
