Could be better

I bought 2 of these out of pocket, there just not great. I have lanshinoh pumps, momcozy, harmony. I had I hopes for this pump and was let down. I get about 1/3 with this pump of what I get with then lanshinoh. Its loud. Just overall disappointing.

I received this pump through insurance- unfortunately the process took a long time (not medela's fault) and I also purchased a spectra pump out of pocket. I planned on bringing the pump in style to work due to its small size. I've been using it at home to get used to it and it is just not efficient for me. I have been pumping one breast at a time to increase suction and it never empties my breast. On multiple occasions I have pumped with the pump in style, have gotten only a small amount of milk out but still felt really full, then had to pump after with my spectra to empty my breasts. I really wanted to like this pump- it is small and easy to carry, the parts are super easy to clean and assemble, and it is simple to use- it just was not very effective for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just received mine yesterday. I'm currently pumping now. This is my 2nd time using it and I love it. I see more milk faster than before. The suction is strong. The only downside is that it's pretty loud. I usually pump while baby is sleeping so I have to pump in a different room as to not wake her. Other than that. Great pump
I would recommend this to a friend!

Do not buy!

I started using this in November (11/15/22) and now the machine has lost suction and making my supply decrease. It went complete out today and will not suction or turn on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had the pump for 2 months and it's lost its suction, shuts off randomly, super noisy and doesn't empty well. I was so excited about how small and portable this new pump would be but I was disappointed so fast. Though my old medela (pump in style advanced) which I absolutely loved was an amazing pump so I figured the new model would also be.

I left a negative review a month or two ago due to this pump not being effective for me. After reaching out to customer service, I would like to change my review.

First, the CSR I spoke with was so kind and super helpful. She made sure she was understanding what my issue was and tried several different things to troubleshoot. After deciding that the pump was possibly defective they sent a new one that came the next day. This new pump works great! The suction is amazing and I get the same output as I do with my spectra.
The only thing I would want to change is making a clear flange set up. I pump until a few minutes after I stop spraying. With the current set up, I can't see at all- it is difficult to see in the bottle too until you are disconnected. There have been some studies that show that not being able to see can help production though so maybe it is beneficial. I personally just don't like timed pumping as sometimes I am empty in 10 minutes and others 25 depending on time of day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Suction in temporary

I’ve been using this pump for one month and the suction is terrible. It will literally lesson in suction while you are pumping. It’s effected my milk production at this point. I’m constantly unhooking and reattaching hoses or the back of the bottles while pumping to reengage suction. Because of the pumping is constantly stopping and starting. It take almost an hour to get 3 ounces. Get literally any other pump. Also the buttons are not good either you have to push them just right for the function of said button to work. Super annoying when you have a newborn and are bumping. Did these get beta tested at all? I’m trying to find an older model models. Back when there was great suction and dials on the pump. 10 years ago these pumps were the best ones to have. They have really fallen to the wayside it seems.

Its...alright

I really wanted to like this pump, because it's a perfect size for transporting to work and I was hoping it's "max flow" thing would make pumping more efficient. Unfortunately I get significantly better results with my old (5 years) pump in style advance.
This new pump feels like it jumps or vibrates unnecessarily which makes it SUPER loud sitting on any hard surface and translates to a weird jerking/pulling sensation on the breast. I ended up renting a hospital grade pump while my baby was in NICU because I couldn't stand using this one. I have used it only a handful of times in 3 months. The only upside is I got it through insurance so I'm not out any money for a subpar product.
