Great pump!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this pump with my insurance as early as they would let me, I've been using it consistently coming up on a year! It's been great, the flanges are comfortable, the settings are easy to use and work great. I love how compact it is, the cord length is long and the portable battery pack is nice for pumping while cleaning the house or in the car hands free! It's a bummer that it takes so many AA batteries, but they last for a lot of sessions. The bag is stylish and fits all the parts great, along with my cleaning supplies, plus my tablet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing Product and Customer Service

I wasn’t sure what pump to get as a first time mom, but kept seeing this product advertised at my drs office. I ordered this one and absolutely love it that I wound up getting a second so I’d have one downstairs and one up. Super easy to travel with. I’ve used it on a plane, at restaurants, at an airport, in the car while traveling. It’s an easy hook up and easy to use. The customer service is outstanding as well. I’ve had issues with pumps not working correctly and was issues a new pump that arrived in two days. Highly recommend this pump!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic pump!

I did have a few issues after about five months, but Medela’s customer service is fantastic and resolved my issues right away. I’ve got another brand of pump also, but my Medela is definitely preferred!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I love this product! Before I started breastfeeding, I had heard lots of stories about cracked nipples, poor suction, and milk getting in the tubes of the pump. Luckily, I have had none of these issues with this pump. The parts come apart easily for cleaning and the flex shield is actually really comfortable. I did find a big difference in the 24 vs 21 shield size--21 for me is soooo much better. I have two of these pumps--one for work and one for home. My pump at home does not seem to work as well as my pump at work--I think the one at home has poorer suction and there might be a problem with the tubing. I contacted medela for replacement tubing, but they sent tubing that was different than what I had, and I wasn't sure how to use it. I would definitely recommend this pump for the quality of the accessories! I would definitely recommend getting a few sets of extras though if you pump multiple times a day or are taking your pump to work.

Great kit!

This is my favorite and most efficient pump out of the several I’ve used. I really like the carrying bag it came with as well. It is easy to clean and use, would definitely recommend.

Great Pump

I ordered this on pump and accessories and I'm glad I did! The pump is quiet and good suction. The accessories are nice. I use the bag to store my machine when not in use or if I need to bring it with me, it's convenient.

An okay pump on the go

I have received this pump through my insurance company and it was not the main pump that I have used. I really wanted to try it because of ability to pump while freely moving around the house. However I did not love it even though I wanted to. I didn't like that it doesn't have a screen so that you can see the pattern, suction strength and pumping time. Also it would not save the setting from the last session and you start with the default setting, which is not a big deal however would be a nice function personally for me. Also I wish that the pumps buttery itself would be chargeable instead of a battery adaptor that you have to connect to the pump and insert the batteries into, which would make wearing pump on you(if you are planning to move around like I did) even bulkier. Again not a deal breaker however there are plenty of pumps out there with exactly those features.
Also, it says that the pump turns off by default after 30 min of pumping time, I did not find it to be true, sometimes it would be 30 min, other times would be longer.
Overall it's not a terrible pump if it's your backup and not the main pump. I would not recommend it as your main pump, there are much better options even within Medela family of pumps.

Best pump

My family is a Medela family, and they all have said how much they wish this had been available when they were pumping. I bought this specific pump because I was going to an amusement park and knew I needed a pump that was battery powered. Little did I know just how convenient it would be! I love my MaxFlow; I highly recommend it to any moms, but especially moms constantly on the go!
