Great pump

I have nothing to compare this pump to, other than the Medela symphony hospital grade pump at the hospital. I did pump the same amount with the hospital grade pump as I do with the pump in style. The best thing about this pump is the battery pack, which allows you to move around while pumping. It comes with the 24mm flanges. I’m completely satisfied with this pump.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Powerful Pump

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this pump through insurance and was using it as a backup pump to my Medela Freestyle Flex. My Freestyle Flex broke (after 3.5 months), so I’ve been using this pump and it’s definitely more powerful, but doesn’t hurt. The only two things I wish were different were the flanges (I use laktek) so that I can see when milk stops coming out and if it could be portable (not plugged into the wall every time I have to use it). I received a gift card for my honest review.

Finally a let down!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve received a gift card for my honest review. I’m on my 4th child and pumping is not something that is very easy for me. It has always been very difficult for me to have a let down using a pump. My breasts could be full and I’d only get a few drops, or my let down could take 20 mins. So I went online with my current baby to see what products could help...if any. You see feeding my baby has never been a problem, but pumping has. After careful research I found out that Medela has a let down function! Game changer! I drink some tea, put on Sense and Sensability, at some breast warmers, and start pumping! Finally a let down!!! I usually use the let down function twice since my little guy is a crazy eater. And once the regular cycle starts I start to get a good flow. I personally like to pump for at least 20 mins so that I can get a second let down. (Never even knew that existed). I’m very happy with my product. Finally something that works!

Should have gone this route first!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my second pump because the pump my insurance paid for broke on my first day back to work! (I wanted Medela to begin with but it wasn't covered.) LOVE this pump and everything it came with. The bag is cute and versatile as well. I love that I can change the levels of suction to my comfort level and I can do multiple let downs during my pumping time if I choose too. The silicone along the edges of the flanges make them SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE than flanges without. This pump, with these flanges, also work better with hands free pumping bra because it allows for more comfortable contact with the breast. The ice pack stays super cold so even if I forget to put my milk in the fridge when I get home that ice pack saves me until I do remember. If I ever need another pump I will ALWAYS go with Medela and just pay out of pocket. I get better output supply wise and I never have to worry if it will work or not. Worth every penny.

Simple and Effective - A First Time Mom's Dream

As a first time mom, I found the Pump in Style with MaxFlow very intuitive to use and effective at milk removal. I am exclusively pumping and have tried a few other pumps with more bells and whistles but this pump remains my go-to. I love that there are so few parts to clean! I personally like that the connectors are not see-through; it helps me to not focus so intensely on ounces produced while I'm pumping and destress which ultimately usually leads me to more milk production. I only wish that replacement membranes could be purchased separately from connectors. Needing to replace them monthly becomes very costly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my Pump In Style through my insurance; they had a ton of options for different brands & models, but after talking to other moms, I settled on this one. I have been very pleased with it! I usually use the battery pack, rather than plugging into a wall each session, which I love because I have carried my pump with me & set it on the counter to wash dishes, in the basket when doing laundry...you get the idea lol

The only thing I would change would be to be able to buy the silicone membrane separately, rather than swap the entire plastic housing when it is time to replace that part.
