LEAKS!! Wasted milk....

Great pump. I recently used the new Spectra and found that to be a more comfortable suction. Plus, it has a timer on it. But, this is still a great pump and I’ve used Medela for both of my post partum pumping. Biggest issue with this new pump is the hole where the tubing connects LEAKS!! The old pump in style did not. I have spilled milk accidentally now several times and never did with the older style of this product. Extremely frustrating!! A simple tip will cause milk to spill.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’m so disappointed with this pump. I had an old medela pisa and I loved it. When I had my baby in September, I was still using my old one. When I was able to buy this one I was so excited because I figured it would be an upgrade. Not even close. The suction is terrible, the parts are expensive, you can’t buy the membranes separately, you have to buy the entire connector set. My milk supply is now almost completely diminished and I blame this pump. It’s only a few months old and should be working better than this. I have replaced parts, tubing, I’ve tried everything. I thought this company was better than this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good for home use

I love it at home..it's alot bulkier than pumps now a days that u can travel with but I LOVE the fact that you do have the option to travel with your pump because they supply you with a battery operated pack for on the go

no idea of which level of suction I am using

I bought this to replace my Motif Duo and although it has not so many pieces (no valvles) I terribly miss a led screen to see the suction level and time. I feel I am pumping in blind now

Great pump if it lasts…

I really like this pump and the improvements made from the PIS from 4 years ago is great with fewer and more durable parts. I have 2 issues. 1) the initial suction in the stimulation mode is WAY too much. I have to frantically turn it down every time. 2) I am on my 3rd pump due to what sounds like a common issue of the suction not starting right away. I’ve actually had to turn it off and back on or hit the pump for the motor to catch up. I’m on my second replacement and this third pump does it too. I’ve heard others say the same. Just hope it doesn’t get worse and just die on me. Plus side is customer service has been great when I call

Great until it wasn’t…but it out performed specta

I had the same problem with a Spectra from my first pregnancy. My Medela pump in style worked great until it decided not to work anymore. This one lasted about 7.5 months, compared to 4 months with the Spectra, so it did out perform. However, the motor must have gone bad. When I plug it in, it won’t turn on. The cord works fine on my old replacement spectra, which in this case is a life saver as I’m traveling in a few days for a two week business trip. Hopefully Medela can resolve this for me quickly while I’m traveling. I’ve exclusively pumped for both babies.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very bad experience

I bought this machine and it makes so much noise that its very disappointing. Did not expect this kind of product from madela. it worked fine first few days but after that it makes so much noise that my babies cannot sleep

New version

Just had my second baby and decided to go with the medela because that's what I used for my first but I am kicking myself for not getting the other one. This new version has a vibrating feeling that I dont like. The on button doesnt always work and the time of suction is never the same. I hate that I cant tell what number it's on for suction. The new closed system is nice but to replace the one peice is expensive.
