Nice upgrade for Medela

I am on my third breast feeding journey and have used at least 5 different pumps. When I received the Medela Pump in Style with Max flow as part of tge Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was really excited to try it in comparison to my hospital grade Medela pump. One thing I noticed immediately is the upgrade to how easy it is to transport. There are two bags, one to transport the pump, accessories, and the other bag. The second bag is a refrigerated bag that stores the milk pumped with a provided ice block that is reusable. This makes it convenient for storing in a work place fridge or on the go. The included accessories are the stands for the bottles, and a battery operated charger. This is great for in the car or on the road. I did end up expressing more with this pump since it has many adjustable settings and it synced with my let down nicely. I was using a different pump that didn't have as many settings before this and it was a higher end brand that offered hands free but was only able to express about half if what I get with this Medela pump. It's a nice change up in general for Medela and it's really user friendly. Washing was easy, just need to be gentle with the inserts to not rip them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best pump trialed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot say enough great things about this pump and set. I’ve tried several pumps and different brands, and this has to be the most comfortable and quietest one yet. The suction is gentle but effective. The unit itself is very small which is nice. I get a large volume of milk and quickly (bonus when you’re a busy mom to begin with). It’s extremely comfortable to use, plus the set comes with two sizes with easy instructions to find which fits best. They are oval-shaped which I find helps with the overall comfort of the fit.
The kit comes with a purse-type carrier as well as a separate cooler with a removable ice pack; fantastic for pumping at work or away-from home.
Lastly, the pump parts are easy to clean. The tops of the bottles have a button-type lever which flips open to have access to the rubber suction piece.
Of the three current pumps I own, this is hands- down the one I reach for. I would 100% recommend to other breastfeeding moms.

Pump In Style Max Flow is a great pump for new mom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Medela Pump In Style Max Flow to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first impression of this pump was "wow! this is a pretty pump." The In Style Max Flow pump and its parts are incredibly easy to clean and store. Easy to clean and store parts are by far my favorite part of this pump - a must have for any tired parent. The pump kit also came with bottles, a travel cooler bag, travel battery pack, and stylish pump bag: a great overall starter set for a new mom! In comparison to the older models that I have used of the Pump In Style, this pump is more efficient and helped me to effectively express milk. It was easy to find a comfortable setting that worked well for pumping, too. One area of potential improvement I noted: the settings don't have clear markers to indicate how strong the vacuum is when pumping. Overall, this is a great first pump and I would recommend this full set to new moms!

Most comfortable pump ever!

I absolutely love the Medela Pump in Style with Max Flow breast pump! It helps me express breast milk efficiently and comfortably with its hospital performance. Pumping can be stressful at times, but I actually enjoy pumping while using this breast pump! I never felt pain while using it and I love how comfortable the soft rim and oval shaped breast shields are. I also love how quiet this pump is compared to other pumps I've had. The pre-programmed settings worked very well for me, but the let down button is easy to use if needed. The pump parts are also very easy to clean. When you're done pumping, you can store your breastmilk in the included cooler bag when on the go. Everything you need to pump including the pump itself, pump parts, cooler bag, and nursing bra all fit in the included stylish carry bag. You can even pump with the battery pack if you don't have access to an outlet! Overall, I highly recommend this breast pump. It's honestly the most comfortable pump I've ever used! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breast pump.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a second time mom to a 3 month and 3-year-old. This is my second time breastfeeding as I did for a year with my first. I received this Pump in Style with Max Flow as a member of the stellar product testing panel and was excited to have another option for pumping. I found this pump to be very easy to use and efficient at milk expression. I pump in the morning after the first feed when my breasts are most full and I usually get between 7-9 oz and that was the case with this pump as well. What i really liked about this pump was the preprogramed settings made it very easy to use and very comfortable. I didn’t feel sore from the pull of the pump as I have with other pumps. I also really like that is was easy to clean, which is important when I’m trying to work efficiently in the mornings. The accessories that came with it were great too, the bag is a perfect size when I need to bring it on the go and the ice pack stays cold for hours. The pump itself is small and easy to store which is a big plus for me. I really like this pump overall and will recommend to friends.

A vast improvement!

Medela has made some amazing improvements! I'm currently nursing my 3rd baby, and balance chasing the kids with a more than full time job. Pumping for me needs to be fast and efficient, and this pump gets it done! The new vibration technology absolutely helps to express more milk faster, and I think it would be awesome for anyone prone to mastitis or clogged ducts (which I am not). The bag is super cute and practical with multiple pockets and places to stash supplies. It easily fits the pump and accessories as well as my normal "purse" stuff so I don't have to carry 2 bags. The little cooler, bottle-fit ice packs, and extra storage bottles are a nice bonus.
Like the old Medela, it is super easy to adjust, and automatically switches from "let down" to "expression" mode after 2 minutes. I love that the suction has so many different levels and is easy to find a comfortable and effective setting. They have changed the flanges to be more comfortable with a flexible silicone ring around the outside. They have also changed the connectors so no more worn out membranes!
Cons: it still isn't cordless. This pump has to be plugged into the wall or a battery pack to work, and it is too big/heavy to fit in a pocket and be carried around while you pump. It can only be used with the fittings it comes with. If you try to use older model Medela parts (or parts from another brand), it will suck milk into the tubes/pump. To be my pump of choice, it would have to be portable so that I can pump while I do other things.
Overall, I highly recommend!

Never thought I would say this... I LOVE THIS PUMP

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The review title says it all- I LOVE THIS PUMP! Who would've thought I would ever type those words? Not me, but here I am. This pump is incredible! I have been able to use it in my home and out-and-about with ease, plus it is easier to clean (no hidden parts to try to clean every nook and cranny). The best part- I felt like I got more milk in less amount of time with this pump.
Things I love-
-The redesigned breast shields fit so much better, and express milk more efficiently in my opinion. The rubber edge is much more comfortable as well.
-The new carrying bag! Doesn't look like I am carrying around a breast pump. The bag is super chic and holds more than just the pump and insulated bag!
-The buttons you press for suction. I was not a fan of the old Medela dial for suction- I could never find the same suction setting twice. By using the buttons to select the suction level, I know exactly where I am and can adjust the level accordingly. No more guesswork!
-The motor is QUIET! I have pumped in the middle of the night and my husband doesn't know because you don't hear the typical pump motor.
-The tubing is very easy to use with one or both connectors. the tubing is one piece and has a Y split so you can use them both at the same time or it fastens to itself so you can use one. Sooo nice to not have to untangle the tubing every time you pump!

Downside-
-You cannot see the milk enter the connectors. This is certainly not a deal breaker by any means, but I was used to the Medela clear connector in the previous Pump In Style where you could see the milk being pumped.

First off, I have used a Medela Pump in Style In the past, but always thought the flanges were uncomfortable being just a hard plastic.
I love love LOVE the updates they did to this pump!!! The flanges are way more comfortable with a soft surround now. The pump is one of the best on the market, very strong and efficient! And now it has a vibration mode— I definitely was able to express more using this feature.
Plus it is now portable— can be battery powered! Major win!!!!! This is definitely my new favorite.
