Terrible!

I held out to get this one and it is awful. I used to have the in Style advanced and got rid of it once I got this because it was supposed to be the “newer and better” version. Big mistake. Suction is terrible and doesn’t empty me. Now I’m stuck with this one and my supply is tanking. I should have never gotten rid of the In Style Advanced!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a standard pump but less in the way of efficiency. It leaks where the bottle attaches to the pumping device. You must be in the perfect position, with no distractions, or risks that the bottle may be bumped or tipped over when transferring your milk to the fridge or for storage. Having a 2 year old and newborn around while I try to pump is stressful enough with out having to worry about spilling my milk. As one of the more expensive pumps on the market, I am very disappointed in my purchase and would never again purchase or recommend this pump.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second medela pump i have owned. I exclusively pumped for 8 months after my son was born so when i got pregnant again i chose another medela pump. My son was born one week ago and this pump in style has allowed me to keep him well fed and make a strong start to stocking my freezer. Would buy another medela pump if i have another baby one day.

Great Pump !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had my 2nd daughter and I'm experiencing somewhat of an oversupply and this pump was great at emptying my breasts efficiently. It helped me to also build up a stash as I can pump ANYWHERE with the on-the-go accessories! Along with the necessary pump parts, it came with a cooler, ice pack, and carrying case. I was really excited at the fact that this is portable! It can be plugged in or it comes with an adapter that you place batteries in .
I liked the preprogrammed settings but wish it came with a bit more options. It only comes with like a quick suckling feature as when you first introduce the breast or a slower suckling once letdown has happened.
The pump has about 3 parts which makes it pretty easy to clean. It also comes with storage bottles and lids. I havent had any issues with leakeage at all.
The accessories are a great asset to this pump. I was able to pump at the mall and store my milk in the cooler without having to worry about spilling or it spoling early. The ice pack even has grooves it in that kind of hold the bottles still. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I would definitely recommend this product to others!

Happy milk

I used the Pump In Style® Advanced Breast Pump 2yrs ago with my first child. I loved it so much that I decided to stay with the medella family and upgraded to this max flow. So happy with this simple, lightweight, easy to use and easy to clean pump. The breast shields are more comfortable.
I’m not sure that is quieter? There’s a soft muffled clicking noise it makes while it’s pumping but it doesn’t bother me or my sleeping newborn.
I haven’t taken it out of the home yet to pump at work or elsewhere but the pump is more lightweight and pieces are compact that I know I’d have no problem.

Do not get for exclusively pumping

I have been exclusively pumping for the last year and had to have the pump replaced twice due to motor failure. They also offer a very limited number of flange sizes which makes it had to find a good fit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Comfort meets power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this pump while still expecting and absolutely love it! I get great suction without it being uncomfortable. It's not bulky and the length of tubing and the power cord allow me to move around a bit while pumping. The only negative I have is that I wish it was chargeable vs having a battery pack for on the go pumping.
