Clear crisp picture and graphics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HP X27q gaming monitor has lots to offer for a fair price. The monitor arrived well packed and protected, the set up was easy and quick , it was all ready within few minutes. My son has been enjoying playing Fortnite and many other games on his new HP monitor and he s so in love with his new monitor and likes to brag about it to his friends
The picture quality is impressive. It is clear and crisp with a fast response time. It has a flexible tilt feature that you can adjust according to sitting position and comfort level. It has a rotation feature which is unique. The cons of this monitor is that it has only one HDMI outlet. My son likes to witch between his PS and computer so with having only one hdmi outlet that means he has to remove the cable every time which is nit a great idea in the long term. Another thing is it would have been nice for this monitor to offer external speaker for this price. I like watching my son playing his Spiderman game but now I can not really enjoy that without a sound.
Overall I would recommend this monitor, it does offer lots of good features for the price paid.

Makes me want to upgrade my graphics card

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this monitor for a mixture of gaming and code writing and it works great for both! I use it almost daily and love the thin bezel design. It’s the perfect size and the refresh rate is phenomenal. The only downside is that my graphics card was unable to push this monitor to its full potential. I look forward to upgrading in the future to see what this baby can do

Great For Gaming and Office Use Too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This HP X27q QHD Gaming Monitor is a great monitor not only for gaming but also for business and office related programs. I game on my PC but I also extensively use Office programs and do lots of business work on my PC and this monitor is great for both! The smooth scrolling screen with it's 165Hz refresh rate is such a huge benefit and I absolutely love it. Also this monitor comes with Eyesafe Certification which means that it is always filtering blue light so your eyes won't get fatigued or blurry after long gaming sessions. I love this feature because the screen does not lose any color accuracy. I always hated how yellow the screen would look when using Windows blue-light filtering software. No need for any such software with this monitor and I am grateful for that. I highly recommend the HP X27q monitor.
PRO’s: - High refresh rate of 165hz. It makes gameplay so smooth and also just for general web browsing. Screen scrolls so smoothly. It makes reading text a pleasure especially since I do a lot of office work on my PC. - Bright picture! I have mine set to 63 brightness and it's plenty bright for my needs. Can get very bright. - Great wide angle viewing areas - this is because of the IPS panel. I love it and I can never go back to a VA panel ever again! - Great black levels. - Comes with a DP cable (Display Port). - Easy to access menu buttons on the back of the monitor. Easy to use. - Monitor looks classy with thin bezels and the base feels very substantial. The screen is very stable and not prone to shaking. Screen can also be adjusted to a vertical (portrait) orientation. - Monitor came in a very well cushioned and sturdy box. No need to fear that the monitor could get damaged in shipping. It's well protected!
CON's: - At first I couldn't get the HP Display Driver to install on my PC and the monitor was just listed under Device Manager as a Generic PnP Monitor. I eventually got the driver to install so it might have just been a problem with my particular computer. Please be sure to install the Display Driver from the HP website in order to ensure that the monitor will run optimally.

Excellent gaming monitor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hp x27 q Gaming monitor is beautifully designed. For a 27” monitor it really packs a punch. It’s specs for this price is well worth it. The monitor features a 165 Hz IPS HDR Panel. Gaming features are 1 ms, which my son has proven to be console compatible with PlayStation 4, PS 5, and XBox S and X. It also features AMD Sync premium. As a mother I am very protective of my son’s eyesight and am overjoyed that this monitor is eyesafe certified. The monitor stand is extremely versatile. It tilts, rotates and pivots to your liking and comfort. The clarity is very good and crisp. The only con is I do wish that it was a little bit brighter for HDR purposes and mostly I wish it came with speakers and that the controls where in the front. Overall this is a well built and well rounded monitor and we couldn’t be more pleased with it.

Beautiful HP HDR monitor that does 1440k and 120Hz for Xbox Series S gaming and works well with my daughter's MacBook Air.
Weather playing visually intense RPGs, or needing high fps for shooters this monitor has you covered for a reasonable price! so I'm pretty pleased with my purchase.
Would recommend as a gaming monitor for anyone who plays a wide variety of games.
