This monitor is lightweight, it's easy to assemble the stand-which has a nice cord hiding feature, the image goes all the way to the edge of the monitor, and the color, clarity and brightness are perfect for me. The fact that it is made from recycled products just pushes it way over the top. So thrilled with it that I bought a 2nd monitor just like it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] HP monitors are unparalleled, and I use them almost exclusively, and the M27 Wecam version keeps the legacy alive, providing accurate color and contrast, long life, and a modern gorgeous design. This is the fourth HP monitor I currently use, and probably my favorite (a close second is my HP docking monitor), and at 27 inches it gives me plenty of viewing room, without overwhelming my eyes, or desktop.
The M27 came well and cleverly packaged, safely buffered, and fitted in the box such that as it’s removed it can be put together. It only takes seconds…the neck goes on the base, tightened by a latch and screw (don’t worry, it’s fixed and can’t fall off or get lost). Last in the box is the monitor, face down in safety film, you are meant to tear it open and attach it to the neck so you can immediately place it upright and out of harm’s way. It is a nice feature, meant to keep the screen pristine and free of scuffs and scratches.
I have two minor complaints and I’ll speak to them both here, as they regard the cords. While the M27 comes with both a usb-C cord and a hdmi cable, I feel like a DisplayPort cable is a warranted inclusion. This is a premier device, and because HP is a pioneering company, I would’ve hoped for it to be in the box. My other quibble is that the Webcam didn’t work straight out of the box. I didn’t know if it was a case of the cable (I initially used both included connectors) or a software/driver update, which is what I attempted second. After updating and it still not responding, I used a DisplayPort cable from my other set up, and after this didn’t fix the issue, I used the usb-C cable and the DisplayPort cable together and that did the trick. All fine now, but it was a bit of a hassle, and not something I’m used to from HP as they are usually so user friendly. That said, it was a minor inconvenience, and to be fair, I didn’t read all the included literature, so perhaps this was spelled out and I just missed it.
Performance wise, the monitor is perfect, delivering true color and contrast, an essential for me in my career as a professional photographer and graphic artist. I am confident that what I see is what others see, provided their device is properly calibrated.
The webcam is bright, offering a good field of view and a clean sharp image corner to corner. Crisp detail and responsive lag-free video conferencing is a must in a post 2020 world, and the M27 delivers mightily on that score…and because it is built in, there is no extra power cord to deal with like you would if you had to use an external camera.
The monitor has a sleek, modern design, sturdy and not easily jostled or upturned. The screen itself holds its place, but is able to be raised or lowered on the neck with only slight effort to accommodate the height and preference of the user.
Again, as one currently using four HP monitors, I know they are well built, and made with quality components, as all mine have been very long lived. I have no hesitation getting HP monitors, as I know they are an excellent investment, with very good return on the dollar.
I am a very satisfied HP user, both of their monitors, and also their desktops and their peripherals. I am happy to recommend them, and do, without hesitation!
I ordered this for my Pops. I ordered the 24 and he got the 27. :) He emails, reads news, weather and watches his church services on his pc. The picture quality is superb! The easy on the eye feature is noticeable, according to the old man! Top notch and looks good to!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So going from a 15' laptop to a 27' gaming monitor was exciting! The color on the monitor is so vibrant it's as if you get teleported to the game location. The crispness of the picture takes away guessing what a certain object may or may not be. The ability to rotate the screen is great in action pack gaming or for putting your monitor in compact areas. The ability to hook up multiple gaming systems is very cool as you get to experience different gaming adventures. Overall a fantastic monitor that will bring many hours of entertainment to the gamer in your life.
This is now the 4th monitor, same model, that I have purchased within the past 2 years. They last about 6 months, and then stop working. I now have to admit that it is a design/manufacturing issue, and not just a luck of the draw on a faulty item. This last one arrived not working, so at least I will be able to return it, as the others lasted just long enough to pass the 30 day manufacturer's warranty. HP has always been a brand I trusted, but now I will have to look outside my trusted brand.
