This new router (AX capable) was recommended to me by an IT professional, and it was everything he said it was. Reasonable price, easy installation and setup, and flawless and powerful in operation. I would recommend it to anyone for their home or office.

This device works good I'm mainly giving it this low review for the firmware issue Asus will not address. I was having a drop of the 5ghz network after a firmware update and had to swap out the device for one that had not had the update to get this to work right.
Asus technical support will blame you for the issue not their crappy update that broke the device. Just being honest been dealing with them for a month now have a service ticket open and no resolution to the issue.
So if you get a firmware update do not update it will break your router. So in conclusion the router itself works great the updates are bad and will make your router not work right.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Asus' RT-AX68U affords excellent WiFi signal strength and affords an extensive and easily used feature set. It also works very well in an AiMesh configuration.

It's a good router and strong enough for my 1600sqft home. Two things that would make it nicer would be removable antennas, and router lights should be on the front not on the top.

Wifi keeps cutting out for unknown reasons. This router’s performance is very subpar and very difficult to optimize.
