Terrific Home Improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We couldn’t wait to install the Xtreem Wireless Security Camera by our front door. It was as easy to install as advertised, and took only about 30 minutes tops. We are able to clearly detect motion at the front door and see persons or delivered packages arriving. It is a great safety feature for disable citizens as well as any family in general.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A good camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this to monitor our driveway. It also reaches the edge of our yard so we can see our children playing. The app is fairly easy to use. We like the safety this provides. I would recommend this product.

Worked Well, Ten Stopped Connecting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am having a hard time leaving a really comprehensive review for this camera, because it worked well to start, but after a little bit of time when I went to go leave the review, it wont connect to either my phone or my GF's phone. We have followed all trouble shooting and instructions, and will be seeing if maybe the wifi jumped over to 5ghz. My biggest suggestion is to make sure that your wifi is fully compatible!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall a good security camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is overall a good camera, but could be improved (especially the app!).
It is very easy to set up and install (they give you adhesive and screws), and it is Wireless with a long battery life, which gives a lot of flexibility on where you can install it. There are a few detection modes but you cannot select the area where you want the camera to detect specifically (others do have this feature!). Battery life seems to be long enough so you don't have to recharge it often (they say up to 6 months!).
However, the app is not great and it takes a long time to connect to the camera and see the live feed which can be frustrating. So not a camera to see live who’s in front of your front door, but rather one for in-house or garden view and explore wildlife at night!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good features if works

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fist impression, WOW! Lovely looking piece of equipment. easy instructions. Follow the instruction, downloaded the app. Pairing..... it took me good 20 minutes to manage to pair the camera. Installed in upstairs window. Checked the app, great view of the street, good picture, very happy overall. Went downstairs after couple of minutes checked the app, device offline. Managed to get the camera working again. After couple of minutes checked the app, device offline. I have very fast fibreoptic broadband so the wifi definitely not an issue. Decided to uninstall and install again. It did not work at all. Tried for at lease 2 hours to pair the camera and it doesn't work. Gave up. Camera is back in the box!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Wi-Fi range can be up to 65ft / 20m but the Wi-Fi signal can be reduced by many things around the home. Take into consideration the number of walls the Wi-Fi signal must pass through and their construction. The more solid the building material or the more metal the signal must pass through the more impact it has on the Wi-Fi signal. Also, take note of electrical equipment and other appliances that may affect the Wi-Fi signal. Some experimentation with locations may be required to get the optimal signal, check the signal strength in the app to give you a guide on the most suitable placement options. We are sorry to hear that you have since returned our camera.

Clear image

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You have to install it high up/ out of reach as the actual camera is attached to the fixing by magnets. So if its not then it would get pinched. The magnets are strong I can't see it falling off, its easy to change the position. The image is clear even in night mode. Its sends alerts to the phone when it's been connected to it through the app. Everytime it detects motion it records a clip. Which are saved the internal sd card which is supplied. 16gb this can be upgraded if you require. There is a siren which can be set off , though this could do to be louder to scare people off.

Easy set up and good quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a single camera to monitor our front door and was so impressed with the quality and ease of set up I have purchased 2 more for the rest of the house. The connectivity via Wi-Fi to mobile is very good and the app is easy to navigate. There is a slight time lag on the live stream so the speech is a little jumpy.

Brilliant surveillance camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really pleased that I purchased this Xtreem camera. My shop was recently broken into and the previous security camera had very poor picture quality and it promped me to invest in this really smart camera. It is really simple to setup and download the app. The magnetic base means the camera is secure and you can place it almost anywhere at any angle. The picture quality is brilliant day and night. My wife can also talk to me at work through the microphone and it’s crystal clear. I can rest assured that the camera is doing its job day and night with its excellent battery life.
I would recommend this to a friend!
