GOOD BATTERY LIFE, POOR VIDEO QUALITY

Brought this hoping for a solution to being away needing a security solution for a couple months without being able to re-charge a battery. It has great battery life.
I was disappointed in the video quality both near and distance. Impossible to pick out a face detail. I have have had other good Swann products in the past, this is one is a disappointment.

Thank you for reaching out to us and sharing your feedback on our Xtreem Wireless Security Camera. The camera has 3 different settings for streaming quality; low, medium, and high. If you are having problems streaming you can lower the settings and test to see if it improves. Note that lowering the stream settings does not affect the quality of the recordings. If you have very fast upload speeds you can set your camera to high, but if your upload speed is not that good then we recommend you use medium or low for the streaming setting. For the best experience, we recommend that both devices should be connected to a high-speed network. If your mobile device doesn't meet the bandwidth requirements, the resolution may be lower than desired or will not connect at all. Reach out to a member of our support team and provide your internet upload and download speeds to help troubleshoot your device. Click on the blue box on the bottom right-hand corner to live chat with a technical support agent or contact us over the phone.
