Brews a great cup of java...slowly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun PureFlavor coffee maker looks sophisticated and expensive. It is fairly easy to use (I did have to re-read the instructions a couple times to set the time and auto-brew) and makes a great cup of coffee. The only downside is that it takes 10 minutes to brew a full pot (14 cups) when using the fast or regular option. It does have an auto on feature which allows you to preset the brew time so it can be ready for you in the morning. You will not be disappointed with this beautiful machine...as long as you're not trying to brew a pot of coffee in less than 10 minutes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Started Out Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this coffee maker. It's super sleek, fits well in our kitchen, and I like the varied options like cold brew (over ice) bold, and temp settings. I loved the idea of a reusable filter, but we had trouble getting all the grounds out. I didn't want to wash them down the drain, so we ended up buying the special paper filters, which solved that problem.
Early on it seemed to work well - we set the clock and auto on, and came down each morning to freshly brewed coffee. I had a little trouble getting the buttons to respond to my touch, but that could be user error. It was set to the 2 hour auto shutoff, which is plenty for us. Then, something must have gone wrong. After about 3-4 weeks of use, the coffee maker would shut off immediately after it finished brewing. I updated the auto shutoff to 3 hours, which helped for a day or two, then it went back to shutting off immediately. This was frustrating because I really wanted hot coffee! I tried adding a little more water and turning it back on, but it didn't help.
The cold brew recipe tastes great, and the instruction manual is decently clear. I don't love having to buy extra special water filters, but I understand that is what helps it taste good and keep it running well. The pot capacity is great, the coffee taste is delicious, and the bold brewing option does have a bit of a brighter taste to it, which surprised me.
Overall, this has the potential to be a great coffee maker. I'm just super frustrated that I can't get it stay on to keep my coffee warm, which makes it really hard to recommend.

My parents loved it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a complimentary gift, so glad i did! my parents coffee maker just gave out so it was a perfect gift to gift my parents! they’re so glad i did, my dad mentioned it was fast brewing and his coffee stayed hot and fresh for hours! he loves that the water indicator was in the front so he can see when the water was low! and the feature to tell him is time to clean was awesome! great coffee maker!

Makes a great pot of Coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great coffee maker. Its got good adjustability to change the speed and intensity of the brew for your preferences. The regular setting was perfect for me. The over ice setting is awesome too, it automatically adjusts the coffee so that it isn't super watered down once the ice melts. Really great feature, especially now in the summer months. The coffee is always consistent and perfect to start my morning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great coffee pot

The coffee came out super strong great flavor definitely a great coffee pot to have on hand in case of an emergency.

Perfect!

At our home we typically make French press coffee but needed a coffee maker for time when we have family and friends over and don't want to spend all morning making French press. This is fast, easy to use and most importantly... Brews a great cup of coffee!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee is awesome! So many features, like brewing options for over ice, pre set brewing times, and it even comes with a charcoal water filter. It was super easy to set up, and makes a great cup of coffee!! A bonus is that it looks amazing with our appliances!!
