Shuts off immediately

It shuts off immediately after brewing and there is no way to change that

I Love Everything About This

I just brewed my first pot and compared it straight across to my now 1 yr. old Cuisinart DCC-3200P1 14 cup that is now shorting out after cleaning it. I don't have the receipt so its 3 yr. warranty is worthless, my bad. My last Cuisinart also only lasted 2 yrs.. So I'm ready for a change and back to Braun I went. My last Braun coffee maker lated over 10 yrs. This brews a better cup of coffee than the DCC-3200. I new it would by how it brews and then pauses and then continues to brew. This creates blooming (yeah really look it up) and this helps in the flavor extraction. Delicious and very hot thank you. Now there were some complaints in other reviews about the programming being difficult. Its not the most intuitive but its not hard to program. And BTW it is easy one button auto programming after you set it up. No one has shown this but once you program the time and brew strength all you have to do is hold the auto program button for a few seconds and walla. It shows the program and is ready for the next day. It is the first anything that I have bought since pandemic that came perfect. Double boxed from Braunhousehold.com perfect cosmetics and everything. Thanks for that. Give it a shot.

Nice coffeemaker with different brew options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Braun PureFlavor coffee maker for several reasons. The 14 cup capacity means I don’t have to make a second pot when I have company. The clock is easy to program and easy to see, even under poor lighting. It is nice to have three heat temperature options for the warming plate, though I don’t feel the metal band around the carafe keeps the coffee much warmer. I like having the option of making an iced coffee with the brewing choices. Since I am environmentally conscious, I appreciate the reusable mesh coffee filter that is included. The one disadvantage is the touch screen for the display. They seem difficult to change settings, so I prefer a real button as opposed to a touch screen. I like that all of the components are dishwasher safe. Overall, this brews a good, tasty cup of coffee.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This coffeemaker has the absolute worst user interface that I have used. The programming is non intuitive and the flat panel buttons work poorly. Will not seem to hold programmable start time and the warmer shuts off no matter how long I set it for. This unit replaced another Braun that stopped working one or two months post warranty.

I loved this coffee maker until….

I’ve had this coffee maker for like a year and the last time I turned it off the light was off but the burner stayed on. I didn’t notice until the next morning when the closer I got to it I was smelling something scorched. I kept trying to turn it on and off but it stayed on. I unplugged it and smoke started coming out of the water reservoir. I plugged it in again just to check and it doesn’t work anymore. I cleaned it every time it said to. I’m just glad it didn’t start a fire.

First one almost started on fire and now the second one the handle on the carafe broke so I replaced the pot from the burned one and now it’s broke to!
