Nice coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really nice coffee maker. You can adjust the strength, temperature and speed at which it brews. Yes, I said temperature! There is a setting to make cold brewed coffee. It also makes 14 cups!! That’s a big pot. If you are use to the speed of a keurig, you will be disappointed with the speed of this though.

I love this coffee maker

Great coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. I've been using it for a couple weeks now just to give an honest review. It brews with no problem. It is easy to clean too. The only way to make this even better would be a stainless carafe, not a glass one to keep coffee hotter longer.

Good large coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brewed a great tasting pot of coffee when brand new. It still brews a good tasting cup after a little less than 2 months of using it every day. It started tasting not as great and then the clean light came on. I followed the manual to run the descaling process. It tasted better after descaling, but still not as great as when it was new. This is why I give it 4 instead of 5 stars.
It has a lot of brewing options. I used the fast option once, but I felt like it didn't taste as good as the regular setting which is fast enough for me. I use the regular setting the most often. I sometimes use the bold option, which makes it just a little stronger than regular. I don't drink iced coffee so I never tried that setting. I also didn't try the auto on setting, because I don't have coffee at the same time every day. It was easy to set up, but I did have to read the manual. You have to set the time and water hardness level. I chose regular water hardness level, because I use bottled water. You can also change the auto off time and the heat setting of the warming plate. I left those set as the default settings. After the initial setup, it is very easy to use.
I like the touch screen display. It looks nice and modern with the stainless steel. I keep it out all the time. It is large, because if has a 14-cup brewing capacity. It is nice to just have to make one pot of coffee when I have company. The handle on the carafe is comfortable to hold and the lid stays on when pouring.
All the parts are machine washable making this really easy to clean. I love the permanent filter, which works so much better than paper filters. The paper filters would often collapse and then leave grounds in my coffee. Overall I would recommend this coffee maker.

The best coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can honestly say that I fell in love with the Braun PureFlavor Coffee Maker instantly! It looks very sleek and elegant which is a huge plus for me. If it’s going to be sitting out on the counter I’d rather it look nice which it does! It also has a touchscreen which is very appealing! I love the fast coffee making feature that it has! It’s so useful for when I’m in a hurry! The best part though? It has the ability to make iced coffee! Complete game changer for me! The coffee tastes strong and rich which is how I like it! I will be recommending this coffee pot to anyone and everyone who listens

This is my favorite item i have reviewed. the Braun coffee maker is so easy to use, the directions come in the box. it was rather easy to put together. i have always preferred a regular coffee maker to the Keurig and this one delivers. with easy push buttons i love it. it will also make a great christmas gift, if your interested in purchasing for the coffee lover in your life.

Good coffee with one major drawback

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun PureFlavor Coffee Maker makes a very good cup of coffee, though the first few pots of coffee tasted a little "off". Maybe it could have used a few cycles of just water before making the first pot. In any case, it tastes good now.
As far as the brew settings go, I think the fast and bold settings are not needed. I'm not a big fan of iced coffee so I haven't tried that setting yet, but I have tried the fast, regular, and bold selections. In the end, I preferred the regular setting even though I like strong coffee. It just tastes better on the regular setting with more coffee added.
The coffee maker is easy to use and set up even with all of the options. I love the size of the pot and think more coffee makers should offer 14 cup capacity.
The biggest downside for me is that the coffee basket and the water reservoir are under the same lid. Inevitably, coffee grounds will end up in the water reservoir (either by overflowing, or by accident when filling the coffee basket). Removing the grounds from the bottom of the reservoir is such a pain. Unremoved grounds can spoil a pot of coffee.
In the end, this coffee maker makes a good cup, consistent cup of coffee but the difficulty of keeping the water reservoir clean isn't worth it to me.

Easy to use
