Slim footprint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this product. The coffee comes out very “smooth” tasting. It also looks like a high tech coffee machine especially with it being slimmer in width. My only issue with it was that it was too tall and it wouldn’t slide under my cabinets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee pot is great! It has brewed amazing coffee every time I've used it. I prefer a regular size pot to a single serve one. The size itself is a little bit big, but I have the room for it. The design is sleek, and the pot was easy to use.

Great all around coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this coffee maker is the perfect balance between simple and sophisticated. Simple to use with straightforward options at the tips of your fingers, and sophisticated in appearance and brewing skills with four different options. One of my favorite parts is the 14-cup brewing capacity. I like iced coffee best so what I tend to do is brew a 14-cup batch under the “over ice” setting, pour some into ice cube trays to make coffee ice cubes, and then pour myself a cup and the rest into a pitcher that goes into the fridge for the rest of the week. I am also a fan of the quality of taste this coffee maker brews, even with the “fast” setting not sacrificing any flavor. My favorite and most used setting, however, is the classic “bold” setting, as it makes my coffee with just the right amount of boldness. The “over ice” setting is such a treat for iced coffee drinkers such as myself, and seems to brew the coffee extra bold in an effort not to lose any taste as it gets watered down with ice which I can appreciate. I do use the “regular” setting most often when brewing for guests as this is a gentler and more neutral brew. And finally, the “fast” setting always comes in handy for those rushed mornings and caffeine emergencies. Overall this is a solid all-around coffee maker that is pleasing to look at and fits in with any decor! It is extremely easy to use and sets up easily right out of the box.

Perfect for Coffee Lovers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker is great for coffee lovers! It's awesome to have so many functions in one machine, especially one that's barely bigger than the average coffee maker.
Pros:
- Easy to use
- 14 cup carafe
- Reusable filter allows me to reduce waste (not using paper filters)
- Front view for water level is nice (don't have to turn maker to check)
- Awesome to be able to make iced coffee at home (in a normal coffee maker too)
- The bold brew is SO strong! Super yummy

Cons:
- Although the carafe height is awesome, it can be challenging to fit if you have upper cabinets. Measure the space if you have uppers to make sure it fits!

fine coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coffee maker does what its supposed to...make coffee! The coffee tasted fine, not any better or worse than any other at home coffee makers if you are looking for a basic coffee maker, this one does the job. However, there were a few features I did not love. I think the pour spout is too small. I had to pour either water or coffee incredibly slowly to not spill which was a bit of a nuisance. I also thought the timer feature was a pain to set each night...not hard but way more steps than was necessary. If those features are not important to you, then you will probably enjoy this coffee maker.

Braun coffee maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always known Braun for their shavers but have never really known them for coffee makers... until now. I'm one of those people that needs her cup of coffee in the morning or I can't function for the rest of the day. I guess there's worse things to be dependent on. Now, I've had my current coffee maker of another brand for a long time and love it but got the opportunity to try out the Braun PureFlavor. It turned out to to be a pretty decent coffee maker.
Pros
- I loved the option for making iced coffee all in one pot, especially on those hot days. It was pretty easy to set up and worked like a charm.
- Coffee tasted great no matter what option you chose (regular, fast, bold, iced)
- Large, 14-cup carafe for plenty of coffee
- Set up was fairly fast and easy and really like most coffee makers
- The front view water reservoir indicator was a nice touch. I never understood why some of those were on the side with other coffeemakers.
- It came with a handy water filter that was easy to install and not in the way
- The touch display made cleaning up so easy. No worries about trying to get grime out of the little crevices around buttons.
- I loved the option for making iced coffee all in one pot, especially on those hot days. It was pretty easy to set up and worked like a charm.

Cons
- Our warming plate kept turning off after the coffee was brewed so if you waited too long to get coffee, it would be cold. Interestingly enough, we moved the Braun coffeemaker to our camper and didn't have any issues, so I'm not sure why this is happening. We had been using the same outlet with our other coffeemaker for years with no issue.
- We had issues with coffee dripping from the carafe when going to pour. It wasn't a big issue but it was a pain cleaning up the floor and counter tops after pouring coffee.
- The instruction manual could be improved as well as setting up the coffeemaker options. Some steps were a bit cumbersome, like setting up the warming plate temp from the screen, and the instructions were sometimes confusing.

Overall, this is pretty nice coffeemaker with a good variety of brewing options. It's a sleek coffee maker with the pretty stainless and black look and makes a ton of coffee. If it weren't for the warming plate and dripping issues, I would have given this 5 stars. Now those issues may very possibly be user error but we've never had warming plate issues with other coffeemakers and have had only one other coffeemaker that dripped when pouring.

Good but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, this is a nice coffee maker. I loved the large capacity of the carafe (great for our big coffee-drinking family) and the variable temperature setting. The setup and use were easy. That said, this machine is just good, not great. Cleaning was on par with other brands. I didn't notice that the coffee tasted any better or worse from this machine as from others. The carafe, while large, doesn't pour very well. I always ended up with dribbles when trying to pour from it, especially when full. I didn't find the fast brew setting particularly fast. I timed it against my regular coffee machine using the same amount of water on the same brew setting and this machine was several minutes slower. In fact, when I timed it again with different settings, this machine brewed the same amount of coffee on its "fast" setting as the other machine did on its "bold" setting. Not a huge deal but if you are in a hurry and every minute counts, it's something to consider. Lastly, the over ice feature was just OK. It didn't get as cold as I normally like iced coffee. Bottom line is it's a decent coffee machine (especially if you are looking for a large capacity carafe) but it's nothing special.
