[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Braun PureFlavor Coffee Maker is a definite must have in a coffee lovers household. It offers so many great features. My favorite features this coffee maker has to offer is the faster speed for those busy mornings mornings and the reusable filter so I don't have to keep waiting paper on disposable coffee filters. The touch screen display is also great because it's faster to wipe clean. My parents love the 14 cup capacity because that means I can brew enough coffee for them as well. This coffee maker also offers to brew coffee over ice which is great because it doesn't end up tasting like watered down coffee, it taste perfect. It is a simple coffee maker that offers great features and brews the best coffee and also looks amazing. This is definitely a must have.

Programming features are inconsistent and don’t wo

When I read the bad reviews I thought the complaints about the machine being difficult/impossible to program were simply a result of not reading the manual correctly.
I have always trusted the Braun name and have many of their small appliances so went ahead and bought it.
Boy was I wrong!! The owners manual provided with the machine is different than the one online and neither of them give correct directions re: how to program the auto brew function.
After trial and error we have found a sequence of button pressing that sometimes activates the auto brew function. I say sometimes because there is a glitch and pressing the same button for the same amount of time does not always have the same effect. In addition, even when programmed for the hot plate to stay warm for 2 hours, it shuts off once it is done brewing.
It is VERY clear that Braun is not what it used to be and I STRONGLY advise not to buy this machine- you will be frustrated and waste time on something as simple as brewing coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You can’t bypass the clean cycle

I’m trying to make coffee before work and it’s insists that it’s time for a clean cycle and I can’t get around it. Tried unplugging and there’s nothing you can do. I’m going to get rid of it because I much prefer choosing when I can and can’t make coffee.

Stuck in cleaning loop.

This model is stuck in clean mode. I followed the instructions and the it won't move to the next step. The automated Clean cycle forces you to complete it. If you want coffee and it kicks in, forget about making it for at least half an hour.
All of the programming modes are counterintuitive. Whoever designed and approved this model should be fired. The KF5650 is overpriced junk that would be an insult to donate it to Goodwill.

Love our new Coffee Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I really loved our new Braun PureFlavor Coffee Maker. With so many great features to choose from. Our top two favorite were the Brew over ice (for me) and the SteadyTemp Warming Plate (for him).
I loved my iced coffee each morning to go to work and he loved being able to choose high as the temperature on the warming plate to keep his coffee hot throughout the morning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great quality and looks beautiful and modern PureFlavor Coffee Maker. I love that , no paper filter is needed as it comes with the reusable one. Easy to set up and even easier to use. Programmable 14 cups coffee maker keep your coffee warm for up to 4 hours. It’s not only makes a great cup of hot coffee but also a delicious cold brew too. Great, favorite and tasty coffee all the time. I bought one for my cabin and just love it. Recommending to everyone. Would definitely make a perfect gift for anyone!

Good enough and pretty to look at

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, this coffee maker is nice to look at it is streamlined and fits well.on a kitchen counter. I like the options to make cold brew and fast brew. It makes a decent cup of coffee and the timer function lends itself well to those mornings when you need coffee before you are fully awake.
At 12 cups it holds a.lot which is perfect if you have a lot of coffee drinkers, use large to go tumblers or just had a long night.
Only drawback is that the carafe is made.of glass and doesn't keep the coffee warm.for long and I couldn't find a way to keep the hot plate on until I was done with the pot.
