First Corded Vacuum - So Pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge shark vacuum fan, but I have only ever owned upright canister vacuums. My last vacuum finally pooped out so I decided to try this corded canister vacuum. I have pets and children and furniture and I thought this vacuum might be easier for me to use to vacuum off furniture then my previous vacuum. I'm happy to report that not only was my assumption correct, but this vacuum far exceeded my expectations.
First of all, have I mentioned I have pets? I have three cats (two of which have long hair) and in addition to the pets, apparently my children and I shed a lot of hair. I am well acquainted with trying to cut hair from the vacuum brush. There's no need to do that with this vacuum. The brushes are self-cleaning and it is freaking amazing. In addition to the self-cleaning brushes, there is a very bright LED light on the vacuum head. If you are someone who is familiar with vacuums, you know that traditionally they do not have effective lights on the head so if you are trying to vacuum a poorly lit area (such as under a couch) you run the risk of sucking up stuff that you do not intend to vacuum up. This vacuum is also extremely quiet and the suction, which you can control from a button on the handle, is extremely strong. You can use this on a variety of carpet depths or on hardwood and the vacuum handle bends at the midway point so you can easily vacuum under couches.
I don't know what else to say beyond if you are looking at this review because you are considering this vacuum. You should definitely follow your instinct and purchase it. You will not be sorry.

Great features make it easier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the flexibility of this first and foremost. I can get under couches and chairs now with no issue. No more of me having to try to pull the couch out so I can get those areas. I love that it is bagless also. The cord being retractable is also a great bonus.
You can control the levels of suction which is great for using on the different types of flooring I have in my home. The suction is great overall and I feel that my house gets cleaner now than it did with my old regular vacuum.
My cats prefer it over the one I was using because this one is quieter. It is compact enough but still takes up more space than I thought it would when it's not in use. It comes with good attachments and you can also purchase extra or different ones to use on this from their site.
The handle is great and it's easy to clean cobwebs from ceilings in my home. The fingertip controls make it easy to switch to what you need and the LED light is very helpful. I can definitely recommend this!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this vacuum because we needed a new one and I thought it was different because of the canister and the vacuum being two pieces making it easier to maneuver under things. It works well on our floors but not so well on our one area rug as the vacuum just powers down. I like the extension aspect to grab cobwebs in the high corners. The bending part to go under couches works marvelously as you can vacuum without moving with is so nice considering the weight of our couches. The canister is easy to dump and put back together.

Easy to put together
Easy to put together
Easy to use on steps and I could reach over half way up my steps with the vacuum still on the floor with the long tubing and can use the full brush to get them done faster.
Easy to get under furniture and to vacuum furniture. You can use the full brush which gets it done faster
Easy to go from carpet to tile to laminate flooring to rugs with the controls right on the handle
Easy to empty
Easy to reach ceilings
Easy to fold down for storage.
This vacuum has a long electrical cord that easily retracts when putting it away. The suction was very powerful and pull up so much dirt from my floors. I vacuum regularly and this pulled up so much more out of my carpet. It has a light on the front of the brush tool so that you can see the flooring better. The vacuum has a light feature that will turn red if it overheats or the brush rolls won’t spin if there is a blockage. I highly recommend the Shark Vertex Vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my new Shark Vertex Bagless Corded Canister Vacuum. From the moment I received this vacuum, I fell in love with it. Every single piece of the vacuum was nicely packed and wrapped individually. The vacuum was very easy to put together, took me maybe 2-5 minutes, and it was ready to go.
I was very impressed by how quiet this vacuum is and how good it works. Following is the list of all of the pros that I found this vacuum has:
1. Quiet and powerful
2. Lightweight - very easy to carry/move around
3. Has three different speeds and two options for floors: carpet and hardwood
4. Glides smoothly
5. The LED control screen is conveniently located on the top of the handle(speed, floor option, and power buttons-love this feature)
6. The cleaning brush rotates. You can get anywhere with this vacuum. I love how flexible its handle is. It bends so you can easily get under a table or couch without moving it.
7. The hair doesn’t get wrapped around cleaning brush
8. Easy to store
There are also some cons: it requires some extra maintenance- empty, cleans the cyclone, etc. Also, if you have a hairy pet- you might need to empty the dust cup more than once. However, most likely, you will have to do the same with any vacuum.
Overall, I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know that "It's so pretty" is not a reason to buy this Shark Vertex, but y'all, the bronze & black is just so pretty!! The cannister vacuum is light and small, so it fits well for storage and in usage. And since it's small and light, the emptying of the cannister, since there's not a bags, is really easy.

You can put it on different settings and its bagless no hassle of a bag and its self cleaning andvery quiet great vacuum. The quality and value are definitely worth it. I bought this to replace my sharkstick vac rocket that I had for 5 years. I have all tile floors,and just a few throw rugs. I love the vac and it seems to pick up alot more dust and dirt than my old one. I do not like the hose. It is not flexible at all,very stiff,and I do not like the control buttons. I feel that after a while they may crack or develop a hole. I wish it came with a couple more attachments. I like having 3 fan speeds. Everything else is great on the vac. It's a keeper.
