Big upgrade over other humidifiers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a *major* upgrade over our previous humidifier. We love having the option of different settings and how easy it is to clean! This also has two tanks which we have never seen on most standard humidifiers. Also a timer and oil tray! This has really helped my wife’s nasal issues during the winter months!

Such a breath of fresh air..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been suffering for sometime with dry nose, dry cough. Headaches & feeling sluggish. I thought maybe it was an underlying health problem or something. Until my Dr mentioned trying to use a Humidifier to add moisture in the house. That with me having this problem mostly in the Winter. That maybe the forced heat is whats drying me out and causing all the problems.
This humidifier is such a great product. Its not super huge so don't have to worry about a lot of space being taken up. Its also very quiet when its on so no disturbing you while you sleep.It has 2 tanks super easy to carry because both have a handle. Which makes life easier on me since I placed this in my room upstairs(2sd floor). It has warm & cool mist which I use the cool. It comes with 2 demineralization cartridges + 2 oil pads. If you want to use essential oils etc.
I also really like the on screen display that shows the mist setting, how long you want it to run for & it also shows when its time to clean it. Which is super helpful because I am a busy person and would forget. You can use a low humidity or high depending on your preference. I started off low for a couple days then gradually went up till I noticed the changes in the dryness. Overall I am very happy with it and definitely recommend.

Love the warm or cool air option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using this humidifier for a couple weeks now. Love how big the tanks are - you don’t have to refill each night. Also love how we can choose between warm or cool mist. Easy to use. Will need descaling from time to time. Cleaning wipes provided and instructions seems relatively straightforward.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only used it one time so far when I was sick and home from work for a week. Was easy to setup and kept my living room area moisture at a decent level for my breathing. Highly recommend it. It is fairly easy to setup and clean. The ultrasonic feature keeps bacteria from growing which is a big plus with these. Coming from a basic model that was also having mildew build up

Works well, but new design is not user friendly

We’ve purchased several Homedics humidifiers over the years to help us through the interior dryness in the winters. They have all worked well, but we are not pleased with the designs in recent years. The old “tear drop” shaped tanks were a much better design specific to ease of handling when refilling the tanks. We used to be able to fill the tanks while either holding them up with one hand or even allowing the tank to fill while it stood up on its own in the sink. The tanks of the newer humidifiers have rounded surfaces which requires two hands to hold them up and are not easy to hold on to during refilling.

Unit operated as advertised and worked fine. One item that could be improved is to provide a hole in the top of each water tank so a funnel can be inserted to re-fill with water. This would eliminate the cumbersome removal, inversion, filling and re-insertion of the water tanks.
