Hoping we have defective unit

No Mist coming out at all and cannot figure out why. Tried adjusting every setting. Think it is defective unit.

worked great until it leaked everywhere

for the past 2 nights, the humidifier has leaked from the bottom and we can no longer use it. there is no content to address leaking in the manual. we have used this consistently for the past 6 months without an issue, keeping it clean and well maintained. no idea what happened but the water first stained the bedside table and then last night leaked into the floor boards into the canned light in our family room downstairs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The humidifier came right around Feb , it was like a blessing. My little was suffering from cold and unable to sleep during the night. Humidifier made it easy for her to have a good nights sleep.There is 2 types of mist - hold and cold. Which can be used based on the humidity or personal preference. There are 5 different setting, which makes users chose any option that would best fit, comes with a small aromatherapy kit. This is the best part and use it weekly once to feel rejuvenated.easy to clean , ultra sonic technology prevents the build up of mold and other bacteria . The humidifier can be used for spaces till 500sqft. The light light also is calming enough and not very bright. Definitely would recommend friends and family

Keeps stopping with clean water, weird loud noise

Clearly not the better products that HoMedics used to sell! We have clean city water and the unit keeps stopping when there is water. I have to slam the water tanks down and it start working again, for a short time. Then there's a loud motor noise that goes away only when you unplug the power cord and plug it back in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this a few weeks ago and I love it. It works wonderful. It is very quiet. I normally run it on warm setting 2 and it raises the humidity roughly 20% in my living room. I love the fact you can use essential oil also. A great buy!
