Good product but flawed

Two faults:
It tends to drip water when not in use.
Why an “overflow filter?” it seems like this was a consequences of a design flaw.

No lid for grounds

While the scoop basket concept is good, there's now lid for it and the grounds get all over the inside of the holder and the lid of the coffee maker. It's a hot mess afterwards and a pain to have to wipe all out after ever use. Make a lid for the scoop and problem solved. Returning this item.

Makes a decent cup of coffee but randomly leaks/sprays everywhere. All the plastic parts are a turn-off. Returning.
