It is truly difficult to write a review of my new electric range. I'm not particularly excited about household appliances. However, my old stove was such a mess, old and broken in so many ways, any new stove would be a life changing improvement.
I wanted a product made in USA. GE fit the bill.
I wanted two ovens. That's what I got. Perfect.
I wanted the controls in the back. Got it.
I wanted a glass cook top. Check.
I made an angel food cake this morning and it over flowed and made a disgusting mess (I blame the cake mix). I used the steam clean feature and it worked fairly well (only took 30 minutes. Not as thorough a cleaning as the full-on self cleaning feature I'm familiar with but, not bad. That being said, I haven't used the full-on self cleaning mode with this new oven.
So far, my new GE stove (electric range) has made me very happy.

Great Stove but had small issues.

Very nice stove. Cooks well, double oven is great. The last GE glass top stove was great for 20 years. I did have some issues. One of the clock digits was failing working some days and not others. There was a poor mould of a knob that was deformed. Not the fault of GE but of the retailer that a month later I still haven't resolved the issue. Stove is great otherwise. I will say that the glass top will scratch easy and is much more difficult to clean than my old one. The old glass was bullet proof and still as beautiful as it was new. I would suggest that GE find out where the glass was coming from 20 years ago and use that company again. The new company must be cutting corners or maybe GE

We love the double oven feature. It has been a great addition to our kitchen. The only down fall is the top. It was scratched within the first week, I am guessing that is a given with the glass top.But we have learn not to move the pots and pans around on it. This issue does not affect the functionality of the stove! So we are happy.
