Fantastic Upgrade

We upgraded from an older GE Range. The dual ovens has so far been the dominant feature we are enjoying. Very happy with this purchase.

Double oven

I've rated it a 3, right in the middle just cause I havent had it for a month yet. I do use it alot and I use both ovens at the same time alot. That would be why I got the double oven. It does smoke, both ovens do when in use which is a little unnerving, just cause I've never had or seen that. It does also smell, like the burning off the new smell... It cooks different than my other oven, so I'm just playing around with it and experimenting with times and Temps.

We're sorry that your unit is smoking and putting out a smell. We're also sorry that it's taking time to get used to how these ovens cook. We see how this all can be frustrating.
The small amount of odor and/or smoke from the oven on a new wall oven is normal when first used. It is caused by the heating of new parts, insulating materials, or the tape used in shipping, and should dissipate after the first few uses. If you want to get rid of the odor quicker, follow the self-cleaning instructions in your Use and Care Manual. I absolutely love this range. I thought the 2 ovens would be too small to bake anything but they are the perfect sizes. The option to cook at 2 different temps is a real time saver. I am so glad I made this purchase!
