So far very impressed with this unit, controls are simple. Oven capacity is amazing, with an option to heat the smaller for just a quick batch of cookies! The burners react fast as well. I'm excited to see the longevity of this product!

Perfect Range

Our previous oven was a GE and it lasted 21yrs!! It still worked! Although the door would stick every time I tried to open it and I think the temp was off but it was still chugging along! I hope this one lasts as long as the other! So far I've used it a couple of times and it seems good. Love the double oven didn't realize the convection portion is only in the bottom oven. The bottom is big enough to hold a Turkey for Thanksgiving, which is good. The control pad seems a little bit cheaper made than my last oven, so hope it lasts. We've cooked twice on the cooktop with a nonstick metal bottom frying pan, which we were very careful about not sliding it. It still made a mark on the burner! I used the Cerma
cleaner and it came right off! Boiled water and it literally boiled in less than 3 min! So far it seems great no issues, will definitely update the review once I have it longer!

With plenty of burners to support multiple dishes and all the different settings for air fry, convection and and everything else, this oven does it all! Not to mention it fits 5 main dishes at one! Couldn’t recommend it more

Replacing a very similar unit that lasted 16 years
on July 6, 2025
Posted by: vaca101
We had the 2009 version of this product, which we loved. It was in PERFECT condition. Unfortunately the keypad that controlled the oven went haywire and after contacting GE service, the control panel was no longer manufactured, so a perfectly good unit wound up going to the dump. Why the new unit has a different control panel, when it LOOKS identical, puzzles me. GE needs to think about sustainability. I would have happily paid for a replacement control panel rather than replacing the entire unit. The new unit has been installed only 3 days but so far is performing just like the old one. HOWEVER, it does have an air fryer feature that I would like to use. BUT as this new owner is 90 YEARS OLD, it sure would be nice to have an actual physical manual for this range rather than a QR code that I don't know how to use and couldn't read on my phone if I did. For the cost of these appliances, would it kill you to print a darn manual?
