Very poor heating

This is the second over of this model we have had in two years. (We broke the stovetop on the first one. ) both oven operated similarly. The top oven fails to heat well. That is, the set temp and actual temp are at least 100f different after preheating. A simple frozen pizza has to be cooked at 100f over the recommended temp and still takes twice as long as recommended. I assumed the first oven was just mis-calibrated at the factory. It was sooo far off temp , I figured it had to be the thermocouple or the calibration. The heater heats fine, it just doesn’t display the right temp.
I expected the second one to be closer to normal but it was just as bad. I’d love to understand the root cause, otherwise, I will never recommend this product.
The bottom convection oven works better but still runs cold.
Hope that helps someone.

We want to help out with the oven temperature not matching as expected. We recommend trying to calibrate the oven thermostat. You can find instructions on page 10 inside the user manual below.

Great features!

We are very happy with range so far as it was just installed yesterday. The fit & finish is very good and we love the features this range offers, especially the air-fry and convection features all in one range. The double oven is the primary reason we looked at the GE range and the reviews were better on this one than any other. I am still getting used to the extra oven but we broil often so we are looking forward to using all the features.

I really like my range. The only complaint I have so far is the placement of the burners in the oven. It makes cleaning a bit of a challenge.

New GE Double Oven.
