Great features and steam clean, too!

Having two ovens is so convenient. The small one preheats quickly and has a variable height for the rack. The larger one has two racks, lots of height choices and offers regular Baking, Convection Baking and even Air Fry. Both ovens offer Broiling Lo/Hi options and clean using steam! The 5 stove top burners offer variable sizes and one is a warmer only. Both ovens bake like a dream! No hot spots! My cookies turn out perfect! The timer warns you with a pretty chime a minute before the time actually expires. That is more helpful than I thought it would be.

The stove only arrived this morning, it’s a perfect fit , both ovens operating well with stovetop functionality just right. Looking forward to some wonderful baking and cooking in the years ahead. The steam clean feature was a must have, convection and AirFry also. A great purchase.

Ovens not great at all

I received my double oven range about 3 weeks ago. It turned out that the top oven was burning whatever I cooked. I purchased and oven thermometer to check the temp. It appears that the oven is 10-15 degrees hotter than that whatever I set. I tried lowering temperature by 5 degrees but it is still about 10 degrees too hot. The bottom oven heats to the proper temperature that I set. So much for proper calibration of oven temps at the factory. The other problem is when I set the temperature for EITHER the top or bottom oven, when the oven signals it is pre-heated to that temperature, it its actually 50 degrees below what ever I set as the pre-heat temp. That means I have to wait and keep checking my oven thermometer (both top and bottom ovens) to see when the oven actually reaches the pre-heat temp. I have never had a stove that does this! POOR QUAILITY.
I intend to call GE service to address this issue. The only acceptable resolution will be to resolve the problem or provide a new stove.

Bought this stove on emergency basis - baking Christmas cookies when old unit went out - couldn't be more pleased with the result. This stove is easy to use, works great and stays clean almost to the point of repelling dirt!!
