Top drawer is dangerous.

The top drawer does not fold back far enough and it seems that burning oneself is not only possible, but likely. There’s not enough clearance between the door and reaching in to retrieve the hot food. Range looks great but I would think twice before buying knowing how the top unit works.

Better performance than previous range

Our new range is much better than our prevoous range, particularly the 'power boil' feature. The air fry feature has taken some getting used to, but we are making progress. Could be improved by including better user doc.

Smart looking with many features.

I wish I could get a range like my old one, but of course that's rarely possible as they don't make appliances to last for 20 years anymore. We got very close to our old one but the new one has added features. Features we won't use but were forced to purchase which made the product more expensive than it should of been. I see added features as more that can go wrong.

The Heat is ON!!! GE has raised the bar (AGAIN!)

We recently moved from our home in Florida where we had upgraded our entire kitchen and after much research decided to go with the suite of GE appliances. I had wanted a double oven, which my DH thought was pointless, but once in place, even he found that top “mini-oven” indispensable! I had seen glass stovetops that had permanent damage from cooked on spills, so I was careful to clean it after every use and 8 years later, when we recently sold our home, that glass top looked like the day it was installed! Our new home had the builder’s basic-basic range, so guess what? We went right out and ordered this beauty! But, wait! GE had upgraded this model to include a built in Air Fryer!! Sure, lots of companies are adding convection in with their ranges now. However, unlike other brands, GE actually includes a BOTTOM heating element, so convection isn’t needed to achieve and maintain temp! This is important bc any time that convection fan kicks on, the dynamics change and your final cook will come out dryer (with less moisture) than it should. Great if you’re wanting that air fryer crispy finish, but a huge no-no for a melty-gooey Mac n Cheese casserole! GE, you NAILED IT!

This double oven is streamlined and highly effective. 5 glass topped burners heat extremely quickly. The air fryer is quick and quiet to heat up a quick meal
