Are the oven heats up efficiently, no problem so far. We’ve had a loss that week but it seems like a really solid machine and GE dance to last longer than other branch

I’m not a chef but I use often and it’s so much better than my previous induction single oven. Gets hot fast in general. Burners cool quickly. Used both ovens at one time and both cooked the same.

Overall, a well made unit with solid features and high build quality. Great care was taken with internal packing materials to prevent damage during transit. This is definitely the best electric double oven in its price range.

When I first received this range about a month ago, I did a test of the ovens. The upper oven came to 350 temp in 6 minutes, the lower just over 7. They both alarmed at just under 350, but the temp did rise after a minute or two, and they stayed consistent at 350(I used an oven temp gauge I placed on the racks). To be honest, I really wanted hidden bake elements, but I "compromised" because this range had all the other features that were important to me, including burner placement. But I think exposed elements help in quick preheat, and accurate oven temp. So no issues. The burners on the range are spaced nicely and not jammed toward the center of the cooktop like some other double oven ranges I priced. The first time I made pasta, I forgot to watch the pot and lower the burner temp; of course it boiled over, and left that burnt pasta water ring, but it cleaned nicely with the cooktop cleaner/polish. Next I baked a banana bread in the upper oven. It browned evenly, and cooked through evenly. We toast in the upper oven, and it does a great job. Next I roasted some pork tenderloins 2lbs & 1lb, in the lower oven using convection roast. At 425 they were evenly browned, no hot spots that I could detect, and were done in 25 minutes. I roasted baby carrots at the same time in a rack above the tenderloins, and they cooked evenly too. I roasted potatoes in the upper oven at the same time. Again, evenly roasted. All the burners work great. However, I did notice that the large front right burner has a difficult time with a simmer. It runs a tad too hot for my comfort, but I just keep an eye on it and remove the pot if I feel it's too hot. I've owned a Maytag double Oven, an LG , and now this GE. I didn't think any would beat my LG, but so far, this GE is out in front. I love that it keeps an accurate, constant temp in both ovens, even when they're both in use. I don't detect any hot spots in the convection, and the burners all heat evenly. I like the knobs over digital burner temp. And I love that all the buttons are very responsive, no need to push hard, only a gentle press is required. I even like the red display, and the alarm sounds. Overall, this range is performing better than I expected. I would definitely recommend.
