Great camera for the price

The only thing I noticed that could be improved is the windshield mount should have a left-right adjustment. You can adjust it up-down just fine, but I can think of times where it might be nice to have 4 points.
The wifi was super easy to set up, though the instructions are a bit hard to read for an older guy like me. Just follow the instructions as stated to connect (you don't have to download the app after you get the camera working).
The wifi option gives you full control of the camera from your phone - I use an Android.
I do still have to have a look at the captured video because I think it will be much better quality. It's not super strong wifi, so mounting the phone below the dash or heater vents probably isn't a good idea, the phone video gets choppy and you may lose the connection.
Overall though, as the title says, it's still great value for the price.

I owned the 130 orbit and got this due to wifi, easy to see on your phone also to set up. Sleek and great video and audio.

Upgrading from an HP Dashcam

I've only had the Orbit 500 for a couple of days, but I am genuinely impressed with the video quality, and having the OBDII cable with battery protection was what really motivated me to buy this product.
The documentation on how to set the time etc, could have been clearer, but with a bit of patience its done.

Good Camera for the Price

This camera has a average built quality and a not too bad video quality. The good thing about this camera is that it comes with a ODB cable and is able to record even when the engine is turned off. The ODB cable makes it an excellent deal, compared to other cameras out there. Also, it comes with a microSD card, which makes it a solid value. It also has Wi-Fi installed in it, which makes it great looking through the footage. The best thing about this camera is that it has magnetic attachment, which allows me to remove the camera if I won't be driving in a long time. Setup is pretty straight forward and the manual guides you through it. You will be getting good value out of this camera. The only problem I've encountered is that the screws attaching the camera and the magnets was broken when I open the box. But it could be easily fixed with a drop of superglue.

First Dashcam and bought 2!!

A friend recommended this brand so I bought two of these dash cams! Installation was quite simple after I watched a Youtube channel on where to hide the wires.
The power cable is pretty long which made it easier to tuck in and maneuver. I love the compact size because it doesn't disrupt your view when driving.
Everything about the camera is great, however I do wish the instruction manual was more descriptive.
Overall, a great investment.

Great dashcam

What won me over with this camera was the price to features and the fact in comes with a plug to plug it to obd2 so it records 24/7 even when the vehicle Is off. The only thing I would change is the mounting bracket can barely be adjusted. Cannot turn it left or right.

Not quite as advertised

The dash cam was advertised as having a suction cup for mounting to the windshield. Instead it came with a adhesive tape for the mounting. This has me looking for an alternative to covert to suction cup so I can use the cam when I am on the road in rental vehicles.
