[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the 4th Greenworks piece of lawn equipment that I have purchased. One of the things I like the most is that the battery packs work on all my equipment. My neighbor next door was very interested in my lawnmower and how well it worked. Yard work for me is easy and enjoyable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only used this for about an hour, but I am impressed. It made quick work of tough pampas grass. I was a little worried whether it could handle bush branches that were about 1/4 inch thick, but it went through those like nothing. Easy to use, nice balance, not too heavy, good safety lock-outs, quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got it today. Long overdue for a hedge trimmer! It's a beast. Makes short work of my out of control Holly bushes and butterfly bush. I have owned the 60v Greenworks string trimmer and leaf blower for about 5 years. Great products, so it was a no brainer when it came time to purchase a hedge trimmer. Came with a 2.0 amp battery and charger. Great battery and good for a backup. I have the 4.0 amp that came with the weekender, so it gets used first. Makes a great tool that much better. Whenever I finally ditch my gas mower... I'll definitely get a Greenworks!
Edit: I have been using this magnificent tool all day. Every shrub and bush you see pictured was obscenely overgrown. It cut branches larger than the claimed 1.1 inch... with zero hesitation. I filled just shy of 6 contractors garbage bags to critical mass. I only used my 6 year old 4.0 amp battery, and after all day, it still had 2 out of 4 bars left! I only used 50% of it's juice! If you're on the fence about getting this... do it. It was well worth the money. I will say that on a couple of occasions, it took a second to engage after pulling the trigger. But, I am a heavy equipment mechanic that uses battery operated tools, heavy duty tools (mostly Milwaukee), all day. And I've never had a tool that didn't do that on occasion. Just the nature of battery operated. I give it 5 stars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been through two of these now. You have to make absolute sure that you never come across anything over 1/2" while you're hedging. Otherwise one or both blades will lock up and it will basically never work again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
