Hedge trimmer is powerful and cuts bushes with ease. I have a lot of bushes and have found this handles all the normal size limbs without issues. You can't go wrong with this trimmer.

Was nervous about having this tool hanging in my garage with kids around. Greenworks has a blade guard and also has dual triggers for safety. So if you accidentally left battery pack in trimmer while storing, the dual triggers prevents curious kids from too much trouble.

Seems to have enough power; haven't used fully yet. I will say that the guard at the front is too small. When you're doing a lot of trimming work the tool is in a huge variety of positions which means your hands are moving a lot. Sure, there's a cutoff at the handle, but it would pay to make that thing bigger. No harm in that

On its own, this product weighs 7.17 lbs. (3.25 kg). The battery will add ~2.5 lbs. However, our 60V battery models vary in weight from ~2.5 lbs. to 6.5 lbs. so the weight will depend on the battery the user is using at the time. The key when using a hedge trimmer is to work slow and steady. It is safer that way and produces more precise cuts. Here are a few tips that may help make using the tool a better experience.
Only use the hedge trimmer on branches that are 1.2-inch thick, never more than that.
Let the hedge trimmer do the hard work!
Trim your hedge starting from the bottom going up.
Use the trimmer in sawing motion when cutting thick branches.
Release the power button after every cut to prevent wear and tear of the blade.
Learning how to use a hedge trimmer allows you to use your device more efficiently and safely.

I have returned the trimmer. It does not run without the battery. I could not use it. I priced out the battery and charger with a VERY high price, so I returned the unit.

Works but unwieldy

I really like Greenworks, the company and its products which is why I was disappointed in the unwieldiness of the hedge trimmer. It is expensive to return and pay postage. FYI.
