As others have mentioned I looked at this chainsaw with some doubts. Electric 18" chainsaw, C'mon, how good could it be? Well let me tell you, it is a beast! Upon box opening and insuring I had a fully charged battery I started doing some "light" work by trimming lower branches off a few Cypress and Oak trees. Amazing to be able to climb up a couple of steps of a ladder and not having to worry about one of two things, either climbing with a running saw or trying to start a saw once in position. Simply pull in the safety and squeeze the trigger and BOOM, a running saw that has as much cutting power as my old gas saw. I comleted my trimming of 7 total trees and still had battery power left.
I am in love with this saw and donated my old gas saw to my son-in-law, good luck to him with that! I can't recommend this cordless Pro 60V chainsaw highly enough. Get it, you will love it!

I was pleasantly amazed at how well this chainsaw cut through 15-inch tree logs. It was so much easier to just pick the unit up and start sawing then using my gas-powered chainsaw. One of my better purchases

lasted longer than expected. I was able to cut down 3 trees, all about 12-14 inches. And cut them up for firewood.

The chain saw is excellent. Good feel and runs smoothly. The only issues are battery length and size of logs to be cut. The battery does not last well when logs are more than 12".
