Cuts through oak like butter. The battery lasts longer than I do and it recharges faster than me too. Customer service at Greenworks is great. (Be sure to check chain tension several times on first day of use.)

Purchased after my very positive experiance with the backpack blower. So far so good. Spent 45 minutes cutting pine and scrub oak limbs from 3" to (amazingly) a stump 15". Worked remarkably well. Don't force it, let the saw do the work and you will be happy. Still had 2 bars of batt left when I finished. Only negative so far is that a small bottle of bar oil should be included. Pick one up. You need it.

My 18-inch Pro 60-volt chainsaw was a great purchase. I cannot overstate the convenience factor over small engine gas tools. At a moment’s notice, I can pick up this saw and start cutting without having to fiddle around with adjusting carburetor settings and wearing myself out with pull-starting. Furthermore, my 60-v battery lasts for hours on a single charge. I highly recommend this unit.

Great chainsaw dont fool with gas

I added the Greenworks rechargeable chainsaw to my Greenworks stable and now I dont have to fight with a pull starter cable or gas/oil mix ever again. It can cut up several trees on one charge and if you get another battery you can keep on cutting.

I have had this for about about a month. It's my first chain saw which I chose to purchase for a small wooded lot that we recently moved to. I was nervous to use a chainsaw for the first time but found it to be extremely easy to use with proper reading of instructions and safety precautions. Have not used to cut anything very thick, mostly smaller trees. Had to change chain once and found with proper reading of instructions, that this was also a relatively simple task. Battery lasts well for what I have used it for, and charges within a couple hours. Would purchase again or recommend.

This chainsaw is amazing! We have a gas powered 20" chainsaw as well and this is so much easier to use. We recently had a tree sized branch fall down on our property and this chainsaw cut right through it like butter.
