Hello, I bought the 18 inch 80 v chain saw. It came with chain already on it. Is this standard ? it did not come with a tool to loosen and tighten chain.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Impressed with the power. This chainsaw is good for small-medium trees and maintenance. I do recommend checking the chain tightness and clean the machine after a few hours of use.

Works very well. Went through my 6 inch pine logs like butter. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it sometimes won't start right up. Brake and buttons and battery must be perfect to run.

Gave it 3 stars, due to the battery draining faster than advertised.
Otherwise, I own many other greenworks products, and they work well.

This is my second 60V Greenworks chainsaw as the first died from corrosion on the throttle switch wiring. The current design is modified/improved in some aspects. It still handles well and is comfortable those who operate gas saws. I am having an issue with my chain jumping off the bar, when this happens the chain drive teeth get so beaten up that they will not fit back into the bar & I end up grinding the burrs off. It may just be this chain as I have yet to get a second chain or try my 16" bar. I feel the Greenworks is a better value compared to Milwakee but the verdict is still out on longevity. My first saw had electrolytic capacitors in a potted "control brick", this worries me as it well know that electrolytics wear out & need replacement.
